NBA Live 06 (PC Games, 2005)

NBA Live 2006 controls are a little different from previous versions (97,01, 03 were my previous versions). I like the slam dunk contest, it's very challenging. I am not happy that Michael Jordan (my all-time favorite) is not on the 90's All-star team even though he was in NBA Live 2003.
Graphics are excellent, and play is smooth (on my NVidia 128mb AGP video card)

It's definitely a game to play. It may even be better than the newer version. EA didn't do much to improve on NBA Live 07, which makes NBA Live 06 that much better.

Before I say anything, this was a very good and honest transaction w/ the seller of this item. None of my comments have anything to do with either he or the transaction.

My opinions on this product:
I'd rather play Live '95 on the 16-Bit Sega Genesis! This game is incredibly unrealistic and "arcadey." If you like arcade-style basketball (like NBA Jam), get this game. If you want a realistic simulation, buy NBA 2k. My opinion is that NBA 2k is a FAR superior game. This game was just too unrealistic for me to enjoy. I was nearly a world-class athlete in my younger years, so I like a VERY high level of realism in my sports games...so needless to say, I was very disappointed. With my perspective in mind, the only EA sports product that I would recommend would be the Madden Series (I'm disappointed w/ the stripped xbox 360 games) or any of their superior baseball games.

For the price, the game is easy to play. Bought it for my kids. The graphics are super and the features are up to date. I would recommend this game to any sports lover.
