NBA 2K6 (PlayStation 2, 2005)

I've played both NBA 2K6 and NBA Live, and by far, NBA 2K6 is the better one out of the two. I don't really care for the 24/7 mode too much, but it does add a fun element to the otherwise "sim basketball game". The game is much improved from the 2k5, although there will be a need to adjust in the controls. Once you actually SPEND TIME in understanding the controls for the game, it becomes a much more exciting game than Live. Graphically, NBA 2K6 is also much better than Live. But in the end, if you want more of a realistic 'sim' this game is the game for you; otherwise, if you want an arcadish feel of the game, probably NBA Live is the better choice.

NBA 2K6 Is far by the best pro basketball game this year it is way more realistic from the Live series some people might say that NBA Live is better than NBA 2k6 because of the All star break mini games or the Freestyle Superstar Type but that's not what were playing the games for another reason that i would say the 2k6 series is better than the 06 series is because if you have the College Hoops and NBA 2k6 you can import your draft roster to the NBA in franchise mode so i would say the winner is NBA 2k6 by far

NBA 2k6 is by far the best NBA game released for the PS2. The shot stick once mastered is amazing and will allow you to do countless things with the basteball.
Free throws are more realistic and the dunks are awesome!

The graphics are great and the online mode is extremely addicting.

The crib feature is also very cool and makes the games replayability extremely high!

I used to stick to the original NBA Live series but now I'm in love with 2k sports. This game has all kinds of great features and realistic gameplay. The 24/7 mode is where you can make your own player and go head to head with just about every single NBA player in the NBA. They now have a situation mode where you can go automatically to any kind of situation in a game. For example, you can set up a game where there are no timeouts left and there are 3 seconds left in the 4th quarter with your team down by 1. The association mode is very realistic. You get a couple of trade offers a year which is unlike other games where your the only team making trade offers. You can also develop a player you like by sending them to practice with the team or by themselves anytime they want. Overall this game is probably gonna be better than NBA Live 2009 when it comes out.

The NBA 2K6 video game for playstation is enjoyable to play. It hasn't changed too much from previous years, although, saving a season doesn't quite appear to be as simple. The graphics and game action are a bit disappointing but maybe they are sharper on another game system.

The game is awesome. its a ton of fun and quite realistic. It recieved a good rating because of the somewhat glichy play on timeouts and replays. Otherwise its great.

This game is soo cool. its totally realistic and WADE rocks!! well it sayd i have to write atlest 100 words. that sucks. But the game has like street mode and three on three and all these things. It also has a great season mode. The street isn't as good asn NBA street but it will do. The best team to be is the SPURS. YA man SPURSSS all the way. well i hope that is 100 words.

I think this is the best game ive ever played my entire life. The association mode users strategy and every part of basketball in achieving a successful franchise

when i got the cd the first day was not working i do not recomend the seller to any one ,the item was not as described on the ebay.

This is a great basketball game. The players are so reaistic, as is the action.
