NASCAR 2000 (Nintendo 64, 1999)

We bought this game about a month or so ago and this game has kept my husband and son entertained for hours. He loves it! Its like your a real Nascar driver. You get to pick the track, track conditions, Nascar driver that you would like to be, you can go into the pit to get tire changes and much more. The game makes you feel like you are the real Nascar driver. We got it a steal of a price for $36.99 at Sears Department store. I loved last years Nascar '99. I thought that it was great, everything ran smoothly and nicely. The newest version of the EA game, didn't meet up to what i thought that it would. Don't get me wrong, it is still a good, quality game, but I would rather play Nascar '99. It does have a few more options, more drivers and a few more tracks, still no Daytona though. The graphic are alright, the damage to the car isn't too real, I can run into a wall and be fine, but bump the car in front of me and be out of the race. Nascar 2000 is a pretty fun game once you get the hang of it. The controls are simple and basic and the game play is OK. It's easy to enjoy but is not perfect. My first complaint is that you can't play full season. Yes, I have never played a NASCAR game where you could not play a full season. NASCAR 2000 is the perfect game for any Nascar enthusiast or just anyone who enjoys playing racing games. It will keep you busy for hours and hours at a time. This game is great for single players and multi players alike. As a single player, you can race a single race of your choice or you can race in a season.
