Movie Description
In an attempt to broaden his artistic palette, director Michelangelo Antonioni (BLOWUP, THE PASSENGER), shot this feature on video--then transferred it to 35mm. The Queen (Monica Vitti) has placed herself in exile after the slaying of her husband. When a poet (Franco Branciaroli) seeks asylum with the Queen, the past again rears its ugly head. Based on Jean Cocteau's play (and film), THE EAGLE HAS TWO HEADS.
