A Great Album From A Historic Artist

I bought this album after listening to the Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 on Ruckus. I really didn't have much experience of listening to Roy (I was only 2 when he passed away). The songs are absolutely great on it - Roy has a great sense of melody and one of the best voices for telling a story in rock-n-roll. Some of the songs are not as "glistening" as others, but I am a big fan of most of the tracks.
"You Got It" is probably the best song for brightening up a bad day for me (and having Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty help you on writing it doesn't hurt!). The obvious signs of Wilbury intervention are evident in Mystery Girl (a lot of contributions from George Harrison, Lynne, Petty, and Bob Dylan). Also, the title track "She's A Mystery To Me" is one of the true new-age rock songs. (God only knows about what an Orbison/U2 collaboration could do today!)
Anyways, overall, I can't really give you an idea what this album is like until you buy it. If you are an Orbison fan, this album is a must-have, no matter what the price. If you are a person who just likes restful but sufficiently energetic music, this is a great album to have. Plus, if you just want to hear someone who sings from the heart, Mystery Girl is just too irresistible to have!
