Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst (PC Games, 2006)

Love the mental challenges of the game. I also have the MCF Huntsville and Prime Suspect which I enjoy. Ravenhearst adds bigger challenges to solving the puzzle. I play it over and over trying to continually beat my previous score. I highly recommend Ravenhearst for peole who like puzzles, challenges and memory games.

I bought this particular game After having played another MCF game like it. I love the challenge that it gives my teenage daughter and even myself. It teaches you to be more observent of your suroundings and has some interesting puzzles you have to solve just to, "open doors". If you like puzzle type games you will like this game, even my wife likes it.

I bought the Game for enjoyment,but to my disappointment,I purchased a " DEMO" witch only lasted 60 Minutes' Yes,sometimes you get screwed and I did on this one.

I purchased and played the sequel, 'Return to Revenhearst,' first and enjoyed it very much. The original is not as good as the sequel in my opinion, but it is more creative than some search and find games, with different 'Rube Goldburg' type puzzles and a pucture puzzle to put together to complete the diary entry in almost every level.

I started looking for this game after co-workers were talking about it. I found it on ebay and this seller was excellant. Quick service, no problems with payment. Received in the mail before I was even expecting it.

I realluy didn't care for the game. You knew what was going to happen. I bought it because it sounded like a good game. If they make anymore. I will not buy them.

I'm an older man, in fact I'm a grandpa, and I find these hidden object games quit good. I don't like the fast pace shooting games or games that require fast hand and eye motion. This type of games are not just for childern, they keep my mind active and I find there not so easy as you might think. Many times I come up with more then one object by the same name. For instance a flying plain and a carpenters plain. I will somtimes have to look up words in the dictionary. Anyway, coming from a different propestive I would say this is a good game for children around 10 and up and also for older people such as myself. I would also recommend The other Mystery Case Files:Huntsville & Prime Suspects and also Hidden Expedition Titanic.

Great game for family or just by yourself. Once you start playing this game you are "hooked". If you own this one, or want it..be sure to get "Mystery Case Files, Return to Ravenhurst." The return is the continuation of "Ravenhurst" and is a little more difficult and challenging but even more fun than the first. I don't think you will be sorry..good luck and have fun!!!

I have always liked the hidden object games and have tryed this game before at my friend's house. Then I also played a 60 minute version and I knew I had to have it. Now that I have it, I play it all the time. So much fun.

I bought the whole trilogy, so i pretty much knew what to expect. Excellent series. If you have poor vision, might be better off playing something else ;)

This game, in my opinion, is a great addition to the Mystery Case Files series. This version allows more time and hints per chapter. The puzzles at the end of the chapters are in monochrome but the pieces can be rotated, adding another layer of complexity to the puzzle.

I think the best feature of this game though would have to be the puzzle locks on certain rooms you are expected to solve before you can enter to search for clues/items. Of course, if you are willing to sacrifice some of your time, you can bypass the puzzle locks.

If Big Fish (or their competition) comes out with a game of just the puzzle locks or something similar, I’m grabbing it. Until then, I will keep playing Mystery Case Files sequels.

This is a great game with super graphics. Not as entertaining as Mystery Case Files-Madame Fortune-this is still my favorite.

I have only made it half-way through this game but I can tell you that I will be enjoying this game all the way to the end. Like the other MCF games you are finding hidden objects, and they don't always make it easy. (Something I love) I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of hidden object games because it will have you sitting in front of your PC for hours on end, and you will be so lost in the game that you won't realize that you have been sitting there past midnight!
A must have for any age!

I work at a 1hr photo lab at WalMart in Waynesboro Va. sometimes I have crazy
days my computer and games are my escape.. It is really a interesting game
you can get lost in it. So thank you for making them so easily available
to me. I am also looking for Sceptor of Ra and Mystery Island Solitare if

I finally got through the basic part of the puzzle. However, when I came to the end to open the door. I have tried everything I can think of and cannot find out how to open the door. There should be some clues as to what direction to go. There is not even a hint available and I am stuck.

This game is great if you like an adult version of I Spy with a great puzzle to solve--you‘ll never want to stop! The graphics are bright, vivid and the atmosphere the gamer's designed rocks. I can’t tell you how involved you get with all the sound effects, whispering voices and delightful haunting sounds that fill your senses. I have nothing bad to say about this game and I wouldn’t change a thing. I've already bought the next game for myself and my family. My teen daughter and I do the game together--she’s a great help with the fun, intricate puzzle you solve from time to time. It's like you've stepped into an intrigue that is eerie, exciting and yet safe enough to want to stay. I rate this game five stars and I'd give it more if I had ‘em to give.

This game isn't at all what I thought it was. I was expecting a mystery/adventure game. This game is just like I SPY. At first I was very disappointed, then I found that it's a fun game to turn on when you just have a few minutes to play something or want to clear your mind of your troubles. My teenage boys even found it fun and relaxing. This game times you and has spooky noises in the background. It's not too bad actually.
