I like the Myst Soundtrack because it includes all the great music from the game. The music is written to flow seemlessly from one to another, due to the game's non-linear format. I also appreciated the bonus music, though I don't like it as much as the rest of the CD. Note that this music is generally quiet and difficult to listen to in noisy places, like in the car.

Excellent for any Myst fanatic.
) Myst was cutting edge when it came out. The true gamer knows all this, and this soundtrack is a "must have" for hard core Myst players. The tracks are great for ambiance or just to reminisce. The tunes are familiar and haunting. A gamer's must have for sure.

This Myst soundtrack includes very intriguing and mysterious music that's hard to find anywhere else. Granted, you might be able to find a track or two on any other CD with a similar sound, but this one is truly authentic in it's mystery all the way through. It creates suspense in a haunting sort of way, much like the music in Harry Potter. I believe it's too good to be dedicated only for a video game. The composer is Jack Wall, who is known for composing music for video games, including Animorphs and Myst IV-Revelation. There are a lot of tracks, some of them being under 1 minute, but many of them around 2-3 minutes. It's great as "mood" music, or just for your own enjoyment.
