My Utmost for His Highest Journal by Oswald Chambers (1995, Paperback)

I HAVE THIS BOOK ON MY COMPUTER AND HAD USED IT EVERY DAY. I FOUND MYSELF PRINTING OUT SO MANY PAGES THAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BEST TO HAVE A HARD COPY THAT I COULD TAKE WITH ME ANYWHERE. WHEN I SAW THE BOOK IN JOURNAL FORM I KNEW I HAD TO BUY IT. THIS BOOK IS JAM PACKED FULL OF "SPIRITUAL VITAMINS" TO HELP YOU GROW IN YOU FAITH AND IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND WITH OTHERS. IT HAS PLACES WHERE YOU CAN WRIGHT YOUR OWN THOUGHTS ABOUT WHAT YOU'VE READ. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE FACT THAT I CAN UNDERLINE AND HIGHLIGHT THE THINGS I WANT TO GO BACK AND REREAD. IT'S A WONDERFUL DEVOTIONAL BOOK THAT I WILL READ FOR YEARS TO COME.

I belive they wrote that the journal was in good shape but when I received it the cover was half torn. I don't call that good. thanks

This book is my devotional and my journal of what I am learning from God's word. I find so much comfort in this book, I never start my day without my time in it and studying the refernece chapter from my bible. I have one book for each year, which I have written in for my family to have when I go home to be with my god. This book helps me to understand the bible even more as I use the Life Applications NKJ bible since 1988. Reading god's word by inspired men and women along with my bible is my fueling for each day to better meet the challenges of this maze called life. I give this book as gifts to friends at Christmas also. So, I will be ordering more of them as I find them. I have paperback ones also, but without the journal part. I Lvoe this book and do recommend it to any christian.

It's lovely..will make a great gift. Better than I hoped for. At first I didn't see the "journal" writing, but, now feel a bit stupid...but...I love it and will certainly will use it. Thanks, Helen

Oswald Chambers offers the best daily devotional I've ever experienced. The areas to the side are for making notations or perhaps even keeping a spiritual diary. Excellent buy!!! Good Christmas gift, too.

Of all the daily devotionals I have used, this one is my favorite. I have had this one for many years now and every time I read it, there seems to be something new for me in my daily walk with Christ. I do not have the journal edition, but as a Pastor, I have given these as a gift to graduates or someone having a deep personal physical or spiritual struggle. The journal allows the the opportunity to write down their thoughts at a particular time, then a year later, to read those comments. We go through so many things in life and too often forget where God has brought us through life. This is an excellent devotional for all the times in life. It is rather deep and thought provoking at times, but that is where God wants us to be. We need to go deeper in Him.
