My Spanish Coach (Nintendo DS, 2007)

So far I am having fun using this easy to use and entertaining software. Have not got into stringing sentences together but I am using it daily with good results. Needs headphones for best experience. Do not rush. Repetition helps alot. The placement test should be skipped if you do not know spanish and you will get the maximum benefit.

This program is a Fantastic interactive learning tool. It is FUN & easy.
There are MANY levels, so even if you know some spanish you'll be able to learn more. Currently we have 3 kids ages 9, 10, & 12 (Plus 2 adults)using the program. In just 3 days, we all knew our numbers, colors, months,days of the week & some common phrases. You can check you pronunciation too!
If you can read & listen, then you CAN learn.

My Spanish Coach for Nintendo DS is a wonderful way to review spanish for those who might not have used the language for a whiel. It is great for beginners as well. I bought it because I am studieing to become a translator and I thought it would be helpful. It quickly helps me to memorize words and it has a lot of other featurs that are benificial too, such as the dictionary!It has fun chanlenging games that you can set to however easy or hard you want it to be. I gets right to teaching and dosn't beat around the bush and I like that!
When you first begin it gives you a short placement test that lets you know what level you are at. It helps you learn spanish words, sentence structure and has 1'000 lessons,10'000 words and 700 phrases. You can also record your voice saying a word in spanish and play it back with the game saying it at the same time to compare your pronouciation and accent. Its a great adition to your spanish books and a really good studie help for anyone who is seriouse about trying to learn another language, or just wants to be formiliar with it. Now it won't teach you every thing you need to learn about the spanish language but it is a grat start!
If your still not sure about it rent one from a place like block buster or a game rental place online and try it for your self, or you could barrow your friends. My Spanish Coach for Nintendo DS is great, I don't feel like I wasted my money because I know its something I can always use or pass on once I master the language! Check it out!

This game is only to expand vocabulary, no grammar whatsoever and it has no sound other than useless music so you learn words that you have no idea how to pronounce. On the plus side; it gives daily goals and even suggests that you stop playing after attaining the goals stating that playing a little on a regular basis facilitates learning as opposed to playing infrequently for an extended duration. That said; the games are fun so it's easy to look forward to playing the next day and in time expanding your vocabulary. Unfortunately it's possible nobody will understand you as you still have no idea how to pronounce any of the new words you've learned!

I must say I wasn't sure how this would wok out or even help with SPanish. We tried another DS game for this purose and it wasn't as effective. I got this game for my 8 year old daughter, because she is very interested in spanish. When I tell you that anyone and any age can learn off of My Spanish Coach, believe me. I love this game.

This is an exellent game! I recommend it 100%, it is really teaching me spanish...On my DS! This is one of the best games out there, it is a must have one.

First off let me say that I have always been unable to grasp the concept of foreign languages. But no more, I have in about 2 weeks already grown quite well with my Spanish knowledge. In 8th grade I took Latin and in 9th I took French. I failed both of them. Now I'm 34 and have done so well with My Spanish Coach for DS that I ordered My French Coach and am attempting to relearn the French I tried to learn in 9th grade. :) Awesome I highly recommend this title. A++++++++

I got this for my 12 year old to help give him an advantage in his 7th grade spanish class. He thinks the games are fun & they help you learn faster. Even my 9 year old loves to play it! As you master more words, you unlock more games and lessons, so it continues to challenge you. I could not find this game in any stores, so I had to order it online. The kids would definately recommend this game to anyone!

Love the interactive voice/record sessions for pronounciation. Fun and easy to use. Can't wait to see what's in the next level. Would recommend this for students learning spanish at any age.

Needing to learn the 'new' unofficial language of America, this 'chip' is assisting me to learn proper Spanish pronounciation. Seems to be making it easier to understand what co-workers are talking about and allows me to communicate with the Spanish speakers. Must wait and see if it is effective.

The NDS was sealed. I haven't opened since it's a Xmas present, but the delivery was fast and the item is exactly as described. Also, the seller did not use the S&H fee to pay for the item (like you see ever so often). Shipping charges were very good and fair. Excellent shopping experience.

Great for any age to learn a new language. Very user friendly. Highly recommend. Makes learning fun and there are word searches, multiple choice, and other games to make you forget you are learning and not just having fun.

Its a good product to learn some Spanish vocab.The only thing that I felt could have been better is the volume on the product. I felt the need to use head phones with this software all the time which wasn't so comfortable.

It is so much fun brushing up on my spanish using the Spanish Coach method. The simplicity of it is totally awesome.

My spanish coach was purchased to learn some basic spanish words.. I have already seen that this is a great product for that purpose. Within the first hour I was able to say my numbers 1-15 in spanish.

easy way to learn spanish i bought for by daughter who has to learn spanish in 6th grade i saw reviews by other buyers that said is was very helpful... The shipping was fast and my daughter is learning so fast with this ... I would recommend to anyone .. I think i will try it out when she is done ....

My Spanish Coach (Nintendo DS) is a great way to learn Spanish. Is what it said it is. Knowing spanish can be a great help in the work place ca sometimes get you hired, more pay, and help you when working with others. Spanish, english, and sign language seen to be very inportant in today world to be able to talk with others.

I have no dislikes. If you use it, it is an excellent learning device. I like the pronounciation guide. Reading Spanish is easier buat knowing how to pronounce words is more difficult.

It is very gradual with the learning curve so that anyone can follow along. The games and lessons are very easy to follow!

I was really shocked but My Spanish Coach is a great fun way to learn SPANISH!! I bought it for myself but my 9 year old is really learning from it also!
