My Science Project (DVD, 2004)

It was a favorite of mine from when I was a young boy. I forgot all about it for years and one day just started thinking about it again, and found it on Ebay. It's a fun movie about mischievous kids and time travel. Cheesy without being awful.

I have this movie in VHS but, wanted it in DVD. I finally found it. It is well worth the price for the SciFi enthusiast. Dennis Hopper plays the Science Professor with a taste for the 60s. The movie has a love story that circles around the "Science Project." Past & present mix together to toss the main characters into the web of unbelieveable situations. Fisher stevens gets his start here and is probably the funniest guy in the movie. Watch it! You'll love it!

I bought the DVD because I really like the movies that came out during the 80's and that I havn't seen the movie but 1 time a few years ago on TV and I only seen part of it.The movie was good,it was similar to Weird Science.Another reason why I liked the movie was because it had a Pontiac GTO in it and I have a car just like that,so that's pretty cool!

I loved this movie, it was so easy to find on ebay and find the best price. When I ordered it, the transaction was smooth and I had my movie before I knew it!

The movie is in excellent condition and has good picture quality. A good buy DVD if you are an 80's person like me.

I watched this movie along time ago and liked it.My wife had never seen it but I told her about it several times I would quote phrases from the movie to her and she would just say where did you hear that ?I always said if I seen it at Blockbuster or one of those movie rental places I would buy it.Then I thought Ebay!I waited for the best deal and I got it.I would recomend it to anyone that likes a little sci-fi,comedy and action all mix together.

It came proply & worked properly. I enjoy watching this movie. My daughter never saw this movie and thought it was great. The comical lines in this movie are what make this movie great.

An all-around romp from the past, with great performances by the likes of Fisher Stephens (when you cool, the sun always shine on you) and a wonderfully befuddled Barry Corbin. Couple that with great cameos by Dennis Hopper (check out his 'Easy Rider' jacket and hat in the finale - it's a funky Bali high, man), and you have a vastly underrated flick, well worth th price of a gourmet bowl of popcorn on a Saturday night at home.

Oh - and still uncounted, unwashed hords of watchers want to know why the soundtrack was never released - especially with the Tubes singing the lead song - which really WAS a gas...

I really enjoyed the movie when it first came to theaters. I am collecting movies from the 80's and this was a must have. Dennis Hopper is timeless! Excellent transfer from film to DVD. Good story, and decent special effects for the 80's. A sit back and enjoy the movie kind of thing. It is geared to teens, I guess I was a late bloomer because I enjoyed it in my 30's.

This was a movie i loved some 20 odd years ago,and after seeing it just recently after the dvd release...it's still good.The special effects were great for it's time,and they still now look pretty good(all things considered).This movie had a few memorable characters that really make the movie fun.Fisher Stevens,whom you might have remembered starring in Short Circuit,Super Mario Bros.And of course Dennis Hopper As the Hippie Science Teacher.The movie was also written and by directed by Jonathan Betuel who did Last Starfighter.Long story short,the movie is about a high school kid who finds a device at an old military junk yard and accidently activates it.It ends up being a sort of space time continuum gateway that opens all of these differant eras in the high school that he has to travel thru to save his girlfriend.This is a must see,no matter what anyone else says!my only problems are with the dvd release of this movie.The audio sounds a little muffled and it was hard to make out certain parts,and also of course the lack of any extras on the dvd.

The reason I bought this movie is I enjoy watching it. I know its silly and pointless, but thats why, you don't have to get so involved with the plot that you can't keep up. its a piece of fluff that makes you scatch your head and say come on, but at the same time its sweet. I watched it when I was a teenager and liked ever since.

I saw this movie when it was first released and when I saw it was now on DVD I knew I wanted it for my collection. I enjoyed the storyline and the actors, if you like sci-fi you'll enjoy it also.

THIS IS A VERY FUNNY MOVIE BUT THE DVD QUALITY IS SO SO AT BEST. THE MOVIE IS SET BACK IN THE 80'S AND IS STILL FUNNY TODAY. MY SON LOVES THIS MOVIE. BUT THE DVD VERSION IS NOT THAT GGOD. ALL IN ALL I WOULD GIVE IT TWO OUT OF FIVE STARS.

It's just a good ol' movie from back in the day. You watch it for the same reasons you watch E.T., the special effects arn't that great and you already know whats going to happen, but you watch it because its nice to think back on the days when you first saw it.

The color and sound quality on the dvd are excellent. It arrived in a good factory case.I had seen the movie years ago and liked it. I could not find it anywhere except on ebay.I am very happy to have it.
