My Own Prison by Creed (Post Grunge) (CD, Aug-1997, Wind-Up Records)

Creed is an amazing band, and this is there first CD. Now the CD is ok, but now music is being bought online, if you don't have internet connection go ahead and buy this CD, or any Creed CD. They were a great band, and should have never split up. This CD has songs you will want to listen to for hours, I know from expierence!!!!

Say what you wnat about Creed. I have been a fan on this band since the first album. I like that "metal crunch" they deliver in thier music. They right a great cariety of songs that are mostly aimed at positive things. They also right songs about the down side of life. Scott Stapp is a song GREAT writer. He is truly talented and blessed with a great voice. And a killer band to back him up. Creed definately has a distinct sound that is different from any other band. I also like that the FEEL to the music is distinct too. Great listens on this disc are Torn, My Own Prison, Pity For A Dime, What's This Life For and One. One is a song I like particularaly well becuase it is about how people should live in unity and togetherness. Just love each other. Get rid of hate. Be happy and good people to all. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

CD disc arrived scratched up and 5 songs skip and do not play through. No mention of this in listing. Cd's for sale should be expected to play unless otherwise mentioned.

Say what you want about who they tried to be and what they did on stage and how their music wasn't the most powerful that has ever been written.

The numbers will always tell the truth and when you become the largest selling band of all time in a little less than ten years with only ten albums, take off your hat and give respect where it is due.

This band had two driving forces inside that collided, namely Scott and Mark. Without, these two extraordinary performers and musicians together, nothing either one does solo will ever touch the Creed level. Mark's new gig, "Alterbridge" is without a doubt the best music the guy has ever put out, it reminds me of the Black album from Metallica. Moreoever, his new singer Myles can sing Scott Stapp under the table and then some. So you think, WOW, he did it again, wrong. What Myles does not have and never will is the God given passion and talent that lies within Scott. Literally, I saw Alterbridge twice so far and it seem like the whole time I just watched Tremonti play which is amazing in and of itself.

Unfortunately, he was the only one that had the energy and stage presence required for a multi-plantinum band.

Now that Alterbridge has departed from Wind-Up, this all but assures me that there will be no come back tour, but rest assured Creed will live on forever.

And who knows, it could happen!

I bought this CD because I realized that I did not have this one in my collection. I am going to see Creed in concert on August 20th. I had not listened to their CD's in a while, so I thought it would be a good idea to revisit all of them. That is when I realized I did not have this particular CD. This CD is just great! I am so happy that I bought it. It was wonderful to hear how powerful & good Scott Stapp's voice is. I am just thrilled Creed has reunited and that I will have the opportunity to see them live. So many of their wonderful hits are on this CD. This CD is a must have in anyone's collection, most especially if you are a Creed fan. This CD ROCKS!!!

There are about 4 songs on this CD that I really like, and the rest are pretty good also. The title song "My Own Prison" is my favorite--great song that's definitely worth downloading.

i gave the person more then 3 weeks and didn't receveid the cd.I try by comunicating with the person, but only once did he comunicate back. He ask for a few days and even then did not arrive.I wrote for a second time and no anwser.

This cd was new, great condition. I love Creeds music, you can hear the words but still rock out. Alot of rock bands you cant understand each word.. This album is very clear. I would get every album.

I have been a fan of creed's always and wanted second cd's for the car. I am very happy with it classic creed love every bit of it.

I really like Creed, and I wanted this older CD by them. It's got several, good songs on it. I wish they'd get back together and write more songs like these.

This was good in the days it came out, I listened to it so much I wore it out. These words make your skin crawl with realityies and truth whether your a believer in the higher power or not. GOOD LYRICS.

I all ready own all of the creed cd's they are the best band ever!!I have seen them in concert twice at SPAC in Saratoga and I would go see them 1 million more times!

the cd I bought from this seller was TOTALLY cracked.It wouldnt even sit on the cd player spindle.WHAT A JIP!
