My Own Human Body by Cristina Mesturini, Giovanni Caviezel (2003, Hardcover, Board)

I purchased this book for my 3 year old who had become fasinated with the inter-workings of his body such as the brain, heart, etc. I liked that fact that the book gave a nice overview of the human body easy for a child to understand. However, the book itself is poorly constructed with the spine coming apart easily. And for some reason there are removable pieces in the book, like the skull for example, but when you remove the pieces they just show the same picture behind them. You would think that when you remove the skull, you'd see the brain, but no, just the same picture of the skull. Overall, the book did what I wanted it to, help explain alittle more about the human body to my 3 year old...The book itself however is not the best book in quality...so it's gets an average rating from me.
