My Little Pony - A Very Minty Christmas (DVD, 2008, Gift Set)

This is a cute Christmas movie, my 9 and 3 year old daughters enjoyed it. It was very colorful and it had a good message about trying to atone for one's mistakes, being generous and being a good friend.

I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

The item was as described. My daughter loves My Little Pony and with Christmas coming wanted to get her a gift that she'd love and cherish from season to season.

Hard for an adult to watch but my twin 3 1/2 year olds love it. Came with a very small Minty Pony that they love. The best part is the shows (comes with a bonus episode) have no "scary parts". My girls hate scary or even mean people and this show is just fun for them.

Minty accidently breaks the candy cane at the top of the Ponyville Christmas tree and she thinks Santa won't find them without its glowing light to guide him there. This story teaches a good lesson about "the true meaning of Christmas" in secular terms, i.e. that it is "love in our hearts". The ponies help each other through problems, they forgive Minty for making mistakes, and they all come together to rescue Minty from a bad decision.
There is also a short bonus episode called "Dancing in the Clouds" that we enjoyed very much.

My grandaughter has wanted this DVD since before Christmas. We have been getting Ponyville ponies and sets so we had Minty, Minty's Christmas Tree, and the Christmas Advent Calendar. I wondered why some of the items were included in the Advent Calendar and now I can see that they relate to the story in the video. Hasbro does a great job of tying the MLP products together, and they have all been of excellent quality.
