Jane Fonda Honesty that I Understand and Respect, 10 st

This book reflects Jane Fonda's admirable honesty. She has had (and I believe still has) a mesmerizing life. She made some errors, recognized them, and always been willing to grow and modify with the times and because of her own experiences.

I discovered something that I did not know when I bought the book-to love and admire this woman more.

I read it in one night, and I could not put it down! The most important thing about this book is that you will read a portion and then put it down and start looking at yourself.

If you have any interest in overcoming problems, (as I did, and anyone should) this is important read. It is about beautiful Jane, and so much more...

I am not a Jane Fonda fan, but I read this because I wanted to know what she had to say about her role in going to Vietnam. I really enjoyed it, some parts were rather boring but all in all it was good

A must for Jane Fonda Fans

A warm, funny and often inspirational look back on Fonda's varied and accomplished career so far. She recalls a sometimes difficult upbringing and early career ups and downs to her film breakthrough in Barefoot in the Park. Fonda looks candidly at her marriage to Roger Vadim, sex symbol status and moments as Hanoi Jane. The star of such films as the China Syndrome, 9 to 5 and Agnes of God also serves up poignant memories of her father, film legend Henry Fonda. Jane's exuberance for life is underlined by human rights crusades and a desire to make a difference. Such contrasts set this book apart from the typical Hollywood fare.

  Jane Fonda Shares Her Life
Review created: 05/28/07

This book was bought because I see Jane Fonda as a long term fixture in the entertainment industry, and on topics that are too hot for most to talk about. This book shows that while she is still hiding a lot of secrets that are too personal, she opens up in many life changing ways and shares some great photographs with the public. She has done a fine job in this book, and acknowledges the part she played in her life's decisions, and why.

I could not put this book down! Jane Fonda did an amazing job describing her life. I could relate to some of it. I admire her courage and ability to reinvent herself. I highly recommend this book!

This book was okay.
It was very long and repetitive.
Could have been much more condensed as it became boring-too long.

I purchased this book to hear from Jane herself about some of the stories involving her life. I was very interesting reading and she took full responsibility for any mistakes she may have made.
