i will confess that i read to escape, i read for pleasure.
so when i read a book where the main character is supposed to be a doc dolittle type but ignores animals. it bothers me. when a starving animal walks up to her and begs for food and she ignores it, it bothers me. when one of the main characters is crippled and the other main character abandons that character in the middle of the forest, that bothers me.
when there is talk of burning witches at the stake it bothers me.
i will be honest i stopped reading this book at chapter 5.
and then i sneaked a peak at the ending and that really bothered me.
so i'm sorry i didn't like this book.
