My Granny's Purse by Paul Hanson (2003, Hardcover)

This is great for any child playing pretend. My daughter was so excited when she saw it. She won't put it down!!!

This is the cutest thing! I bought it for my grandaughter who lives in another state. And she's teething and likes board books. They teach them a lot, and there's something nice about being able to play in Granny's purse. The stuff in it looks like the stuff in my real purse...even the little black speckled book...I have MANY of those! So this is purse will be there when Granny can't be. Every little child should have one!

loved the details,details,details! all the stuff you'd find in your granny's purse-or your OWN purse for that matter. i sent this to my grand daughter who was a yr old last xmas.her momma says she carries it everywhere! ;) and when she puts it down,her brother who is 3 picks it up!! ;) great gift.dont even think twice about this one,it's a no-brainer....I DO WISH THE GLASSES HAD BEEN A LITTLE TOUGHER as they were broker early on,i love that many of the pieces can be looked at and admired but dont actually come out of the purse completely,i bought this on line after looking at it twice at a local bookstore.bought it for 1/2 the price on line.

This children's book is shaped like a purse and is made very well. It is a very inventive way to design a book. It is not only a book, but also a hands on toy. My grandbaby was immediately drawn to it. I bought another for a gift and plan to buy more when the occassion arises. I have bought another similar book, "My Grandpa's Brief Case" and plan to give it as a gift.
I strongly recommend this book!

This little book is full of adventure and learning...Your little will totally enjoy moment of reading and learning.

An excellent book with pages that represent items that could be in a purse. Items are interactive and entertaining for children. I would recommend it for young children. It is rated for use not for children under 3. However I feel its great for them too, but needs supervision if used by children under 3 due to the items that could be torn from book and eaten or swallowed.

My granddaughter loves the book.
