My Generation: The Very Best of the Who by Who (The) (CD, Aug-1996, MCA Records USA)

The production quality is poor on perfect cd, sounds like an old cd not a remaster. Good songs, but poor recording from song to song it changes may have a couple songs on the cd that sound ok the rest seem recorded with a tin can and string.

What is there to dislike? This is one of the best bands to ever set foot on a stage. This CD compilation is some of the best work they ever did. Magic Bus is one of the all time best rock tunes. The CD just plain rocks!

While I don't agree with absolutely every song that was put on this album, it is a very good collection of some of The Who's best work!

I'm not one for listening to "hard rock", more of the "oldies" type, but I was told that The Who did the theme music for the three CSI shows on TV and that was all I needed. Since I have had the CD, I've found that there are other tracks that I like and that makes the purchase of this CD that much more rewarding.

Great music by a great group and this CD has the best of The Who. Highly recommended for those fans of The Who and those who enjoy good old rock-n-roll.

i bought the CD for my brother. It holds a lot of good memories for him. When i gave it to him, my first worry was how will it sound. well, all i can say is Outstanding. The smile it brought to his face was worth it. He plays it in his car all the time. My brother is 68 years old. He knows every word to every song.

Nice collection of popular who songs on one disc. I like having all the best songs on one so it's easier to fit in the car storage compartment.

The reason I bought this CD is that I'm huge fan of CSI. They were the only songs that I could recognize....U gotta be a huge fan of the WHO to buy this CD. Otherwise U R not gonna really appreciate the CD.

The cd was exactly what I wanted, I am into classic rock music. It arrived on time and excellent condition.

I bought it for two reasons, one that my husband is a collector of music and for myself because I went looking for the theme song for CSI New York and found it in EUC (excellent used condition)at a fair price with the bonus surprise as it also had the CSI theme song on it.

Lastly I liked the lightening speed delivery of the cd in a bubble pack!!

Switching the music collection from albums to CD's to the ipod has been quite a change for me, but with the very BEST music ever performed during the 60's and early 70's it has been quite enjoyable. I grew up listening to music like this. This album captures the very best songs from the incredible Who experience. Squeezebox, Pinball Wizard, Magic Bus, My Generations, Won't Get Fooled Again, Who Are Are You, I Can See For Miles.......kids today have no idea what GREAT music is like! At least they get a bit of it in TV theme songs! Alive and well and living in the 60's......you had to have been there I guess :-) GREAT choice for your Who Best collection.

cd was in excellent shape. prompt service from seller. i have long been a fan of the who. it had all my favorite songs on it.

Lots of good memories from this CD. Really love about 4 or 5 of those and play them over and over again. Not much really bad about it, just a few old silly songs.
