Movie Description Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis were a little-known vaudeville team when they made their screen debuts in a movie adaptation of the 1940s radio show MY FRIEND IRMA (1949). Though Martin and Lewis received only fifth and sixth billing in what was ostensibly a vehicle for actress Marie Wilson's eponymous ditzy-blonde character, the comedy duo's scene-stealing performances made them so popular that they were given top billing in the film's Wild West sequel, MY FRIEND IRMA GOES WEST (1950). This double feature presents both Hal Wallis-produced films for a historic look at the starmaking turns of one of the most inspired pairings in comedy and cinema.
