    Few of today’s so-called comedy movies are really funny. This one does have a lot of legitimate laughs, but it also has plenty of sexual humor and so much political satire that it tends to create disrespect for the Presidency in general.

    Released in 1997, this Jack Lemmon-James Garner comedy still holds up. The political humor seems even more apropos today in red state-blue state America. Jokes abound as Lemmon and Garner go on a road trip to clear their names - and avoid being bumped off - in a looming political scandal. Enjoy seeing Bradley Whitford in pre-West Wing days - he's got a lot more hair. Not for the kids as the language is a little rough - especially spouted by Lemmon's character. The silly conspiracy plot is pure fun. Enjoy!
