Movie Description The oldest child of a poor Australian ranch family (Judy Davis) has aspirations of artistic greatness. However, she finds that she must choose between her dream and her less-than-perfect love affair with Harry (Sam Neill). Based on the autobiographical novel by Miles Franklin, the film was nominated for best costume design.
