My Bodyguard (DVD, 2005, Sensormatic)

I wouldn't know what to review since the seller refuses to send the item or refund my money. I have tried to resolve this issiue and all it got me was a non paying strike against me which I had to get removed and the seller left me negative feedback after trying to contact them.

Movie was somewhat typical of high school of that era. Showed making lasting friendships and the importance of trying to do the right thing. Movie took you through many aspects of life that are real and in our lives everyday, but can be overcome and not keep us from our goals. I liked the abscense of drive byes and killings. Had a real nice ending to an uncomplicated plot. RRO 2/11/07

Great to finally find this movie. No one around carries it. My sister has been looking all over for it. So this Christmas she will have a great present.

A little older film, yet touching and inspiring. A young man standing up for himself and others. Matt Damon always plays a great prick.

This is one of my favorite movies of the 80's and was glad they had it available at such a great price!!!

The movie is about a new kid in high school in a big city, (I think Chicago)and his friendships and rivalries. There is minor violence, as in fights between the kids and some profanity that is heard every day and teenagers probably have heard.
Its an excellent story, with good acting by all. There are no special effects, just a good true to life movie. Parents can watch with teenagers and enjoy a good film. Teenagers will probably see a lot of themselves in it. I recommend it highly. I also recommend "A Little Romance" with Diane Lane and Sir Lawrence Olivier.
