These two guys are just great together,bringing out the best in each other. The music is excellent,and the additional dvd is also very entertaining. This one is well worth owning,especially if you are a fan of progressive acoustic music.

) I saw Bela Fleck and Edgar Meyer in concert for this tour before I bought the cd/dvd combination and they left a serious impression upon me as both a passive listener and novice bass player. As they are both serious musicians in their own ways, the pairing of the two creates a tremendous energy one can feel in the music. There are short classical arrangements and there are floating folk/bluegrass ramblings that could bring blue skies to anyone's cloudy day. There are one or two songs of the cd that are not of my liking, but they are so well played and thought out that I can appreciate them in a different way.
My favorite track is "Palmyra".
I have easily bought seven copies of this as gifts in the past few months and everyone was thankful they were on my short list.
