I decided to buy this cd as I fell in love with the movie and I found that the soundtrack matched the different moments which were very important for "the plot" if I can say so. As far as I am concerned this soundtrack is a key element to create a very good atmosphere, to chill out or to have fun shouting "THIS IS SPARTA!!!"

This is just an all-round great set of musical scores from the movie. My favourite of the track are #1 and #17 that have a great drum beat but also electric guitar seamlessly mixed in with wind and brass instruments.

This music is so very powerful. Even if you didn't see the movie, you would enjoy it. It is music so of the time and so of today. Each peace speaks so perfect for the scenes in the movie. I rarely buy movie soundtrack music, but this movie so moved me in so many ways and the music was so perfect that I enjoy listening to the music often. By the way, did I say the music was SO PERFECT!!!!!

If you loved the movie this is a great soundtrack. It's big and bold and just very inspiring music. Even if you havn't seen the movie the music will move you to bigger and better things.
