Movie Description
Tchaikovsky's music highlights this tale of the composer's marriage to the unstable Nina. Richard Chamberlain plays Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Glenda Jackson is the woman whose love Tchaikovsky is at once repelled and enraptured by. Their torrid romance opens old wounds and jeopardizes the great composer's homosexuality. Tchaikovsky's compositions are recorded by Andre Previn, conducting the London Symphony Orchestra.
