One of the best, most uplifting stories I've seen in a long while. We need more programs like this. As always you can count on Meryl Streep to choose a good role.

I love how the teacher in the movie tries her hardest to help kids out who don't get much help from anyone.

) This movie is based on a true story and has a great message. It pulls at your heart-strings and also has it's funny moments. Best of all - it's a family movie - all ages can watch & enjoy. It demonstrates the importance of those very special teachers that desperately want to help children , and in this case it is through the wonderful world of music. This was an award winning movie, and rightfully so!

Music of the HeartI love this movie because I always watch a Meryl Streep movie if I can, and because I just watched it for the umteenth time. I am in the process of trying to buy it on eBay. There's just something about the violin that makes you want to be a little more! And of course a true story is always inviting.
