Plot Twist
The film starts off with Cuba Gooding, Jr. in jail, then flashes back to tell you how he got there. The story is a complex one, with many dead-ends, false leads, twists, and turns. You don't know the truth until the last ten minutes, and then you don't know the result until five minutes or so later. At the end of the film, you are still left trying to figure out the right and wrong of it, which might be quite different from the guilt-innocent and legal-illegal dichotomies, at least for this story.
