"The Mummy Returns" is not as good as its predecessor, but good enough to own and to watch again and again. Evie is not as charming as was the innocent librarian of the first movie, but the son is lots of fun. The scenes are every bit as spectacular and action-packed as the original.

After watching this, my husband turned to me and said, "I liked this one far better than the first one." My sentiments exactly. More story telling and less hijinxs. This is one of those films you can wrap yourself in and almost believe it could happen. Brendan Fraser was excellent and "The Mummy" was his usual smoking hot self.

The Mummy Returns is a great movie. It's the best of the whole series, and that's saying something because The Mummy and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor were both great movies also. Lots of action, good acting, etc. Highly recommended.

Great sequel to The Mummy. I loved the Mummy so this was fantastic. The sequel brings much excitement and depth into the future. Graphics were very good and not unrealistic.

Original Mummy was better. New Mummy has too many special effects and no story. Too many strange subtitles to read in the movie otherwise ok. Good for a watch but no replay value. old movie. eww. watch the original its better.

The movie is in Widscreen which I absolutely love! All of the special features were included from the writer/director Stephen Sommers, information on the Egyptian era, out-takes, and much more. Fantastic deal for a great action movie!

It was to finish off our collection on dvd. The movie is one of my husbands favorites so I ordered it for him.

I decided to buy "The Mummy Returns" after watching it numerous times on cable. My family really enjoys this sequel to "The Mummy".

Well, I bought The Mummy Returns. The reason I bought it is because I got it at a cheap price. I was most pleased about that. There's not much to dislike about it, except the fact that the disc had little scratches which in one crucial scene the disc freezes so that you're not able to watch it. Other than that, it's not that much wrong with it.

I loved the first "Mummy" and already had "Scorpion King."
I enjoy the characters and the plot, and wanted the sequel.
I was glad to find it on E-bay at a reasonable price since I was unable to find it in the stores.

it was a bootleged copy and was poor quality will not ever buy dvd's on here again most I have gotten are bootleged

Not quite as good as the original MUMMY...but it still keeps you on the edge of your seat. The acting is great...the photography is way above average.

What can I say, this movie is one of the greats up there with Indiana Jones. Even I can watch it every once in a while and enjoy it over and over again. Plus the scenery is pretty cool in the movie if you like Egyptian pyramids stuff.

The first one might be just a little better, but this one certainly is worth having if you like this kind of action/adventure film. Sure you can pick it apart like most action films that can't even put the right engine sound with the right type of motorcycle, but this film has tons of action scenes so I doubt it would be possible to perfect them all. Huge action, great characters, and a big story with some comedy tossed in equals a great movie.

Filled with non-stop adventure. The special effects were something else for its time. A majority of the movie takes place in the sand, very eerie.
