Just about everything makes this movie as good as the first! Some things are even better! I must admit that I wasn't thrilled with the Scorpian King in the end, but there were so many other reasons to enjoy the movie that I would still highly recommend it!

This is a really good sequel. If you liked the first one "the mummy" then you will really like this one. It has a lot of action in it and the rock as the scorpion king is really good. I highly recommend this movie.

The transaction was very quick and easy. The product came packaged properly and had no visual damage. THe DVD itself had no apparant abrasions or such disnormalities and matched the product discription provided by the website prior to purchase. The movie ran smoothly without glitches and was just as enjoyable. This DVD was purchased to become part of a collectors array of historically set VHSs and DVDs.

The others item I receive quickly and in god conditions. But this item are cancelled and I don't know because what happend and the razon for cancelled. The seller are responsable and send the items very fast.

Proving that bigger is rarely better, The Mummy Returns serves up so much action and so many computer-generated effects that it quickly grows exhausting. In his zeal to establish a lucrative franchise, writer-director Stephen Sommers dispenses with such trivial matters as character development and plot logic, and charges headlong into an almost random buffet of minimum story and maximum mayhem, beginning with a prologue establishing the ominous fate of the Scorpion King (played by World Wrestling Federation star the Rock, in a cameo teaser for his later starring role in--you guessed it--The Scorpion King). Dormant for 5,000 years, under control of the Egyptian god Anubis, the Scorpion King will rise again in 1933, which is where we find The Mummy's returning heroes Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz, now married and scouring Egyptian ruins with their 8-year-old son, Alex (Freddie Boath). John Hannah (as Weisz's brother) and Oded Fehr (as mystical warrior Ardeth Bay) also return from The Mummy, and trouble begins when Alex dons the Scorpion King's ancient bracelet, coveted by the evil mummy Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo), who's been revived by... oh, but does any of this matter? This was a great action packed movie. It's great for the family my little ones were a little scared but they kept watching they're 4 & 5 but it had their attention. Even though i tried to get them not to see it they would not budge. Great movie had us on the edge of our seats.

This was a Great Movie. Bought it for my daughters Valentines. All 3 in fact. Love Brandon Frasier and The Rock as the Scorpion King! Great Movie. I wonder why the original wife was not in the 3rd one?

My dad really likes them. He thinks they are funny and entertaining. I think the Mummy movies are funny too. Also their is a cute little boy in this movie!

Funnier and more exciting than the first! The story is more tightly written, and the special effects have matured to a very seamless, super-believable look.

PLOT: the Rick and Evie are Married and have a son who has his dads sense of adventure with the skills in Egyptology of his mother~ THE boy puts on a bracelet that makes HIM need to get back to egypt or he will die~THE BRACELET IS THE KEY TO RELEASING THE MUMMY AND THE SCORPION KINGS ARMIES TOO TAKE OVER THE WORLD~

The now married Rick & Evie O'Connal are back with their son~ what a fun kid he is KIDNAPPED BECAUSE he is wearing a bracelet that will set forth events that will allow the Mummy and the Scorpion King to be set free ~! so his parents are hot on the trail of the kidnappers BACK to Egypt where the MUMMY and group are busy trying too bring the former lover of the MUMMY back TOO LIFE~ and the key to that is Evie~ excellent nearly as good as the first~ GREAT chase scene with a RED double decker buss with mummies chasing it is GREAT~ same great plot and humor~ I GIVE IT A SOLID 8 OUT OF 10 FOR ADVENTURE, HORROR AND FUN~ AND YES THE HUMOR IS THERE TOO~

The Mummy Returns is another great family movie, and one that you should add to your collection for your big screen tv! In a sequel to The Mummy, this time the O'Donnells have a son, and the three get caught up in an archeological find that Imohtep has to have. You'll see great special effects, lots of energitic fight/sword scenes, and a story that keeps you captivated until the very end. Get the trilogy-The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and the Scorpion King. You will not be disappointed. (Some foul language, but not excessive. Movie rated PG-13.)

Great flick that was a good follow up to the first flick. It arrive in timely fashon and was as presented and in good condition.

Why did i buy this product cause im upgrading from vhs's and dvd's and i like full screen a lot better than widescreen

I had this movie on VHS, but I am changing all of our movies over to DVD. This is an excellent movie. Its a great movie for the whole family to watch. I don't think I would recommend it for children under ten though, cause of some of the violence in it. The violence is not graphic, but some people don't like to expose their little kids to it. This movie keeps you interested through the whole thing. Get one and enjoy it.
