The Mummy (HD DVD, 2006)

This is the first in the Mummy trilogy and is the best! I love the relationship between Rick O'Connell and Evie. Rachel Weisz does a great job as Evie and I love her brother Jonathon, he's hilarious! This movie has action, romance, and comedy! A MUST SEE!

How can you not love movies starring Brandon Frasier? He is so hot and he KNOWS how to act. I love all three of these movies.

The movie arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. Seller has great communication skills and left feedback immediately. I appreciate it when sellers leave feedback immediately after purchasing as I follow this practice when I sell.

The picture quality is incredible! The surround sound will just about knock you out of your chair! My next HD-DVD purchase will be The Mummy Returns! This is definitely one to add to your collection!

The visual effects are somewhat dated and the second Mummy I would choose over this one, but there are great bonus features. 3 different commentaries, none with Rachel Wiesz though. A long featurette, that includes someone from ILM with the strangest hair (it must be a rug) a few deleted scenes and a bit more. I already own both of these on DVD but couldn't resist the price and was impressed by the conversion to HD. Some movies aren't as noticable but this one was on the good area of the scale. The story isn't that compelling and the Mummy Returns I would pick over this one, but this movie is happily added to my collection.

This movie is very interesting!! I totally love this movie because it takes place mostly at a desert. Reminds me of Indiana Jones kinda. The characters play the role of this movie great! You won't get bored of watching this. Also watch the next series of this movie. The Mummy Returns and Scorpian King are the next ones.

This movie is done very well on HD DVD. The picture is nice and the sound is incredible. Because this movie was done prior to the advent of digital film, HD DVD picks up the some of the imperfections of the film, but quality of 1080p is great. You can see more details and enjoy a better movie going experience.You will notice the difference in HD DVD!
