Superb movie! The best out of the 3! Great story and actors! They even added humor! Action, romance... it's all in there! Non-stop fun from beginning to end! Brendan Frasier is fantastic as Rick O'Connell and I love Oded Fahir, too! You will not be disappointed with this movie! I had The Mummy on VHS (and the other 2 on DVD), now my Trilogy is complete! Great Movie! Intrigue, Adventure, scary in some parts but kid friendly for the most part. Brendan Frasier is great in this movie.

I had my doubts that brandon fraser could be a leading man in an action movie. I was wrong, he does a great job as the star of this movie. The special effects are awesome & at the time they were cutting edge. The movie still looks good today & would still be a hit. This is the best of the mummy series. For those who have yet to see it, you are in for a treat.

i love this movie and i can watch it over and over again!!!! great storyline, keeps me into the movie the whole time. has an awesome mixture of action and comedy! it is hilarious at parts, and also has parts to keep you on the edge of your seat!

If you're a fan of action flicks like I am, this movie is a must-have. The beauty of a really good action flick is that it need not have a deep and intriguing storyline in order for it to be classified as 'good' - the story is usually just a vehicle to move the action along.

Well, the story itself might not be very plausible, it is well-written and will draw you in, despite all of the high-octane action going on- you'll also be looking to see what happens NEXT. In my opinion, this is what makes a good action film great- it isn't just the CGI or effects but the story which makes it all into one big cohesive ball of awesomeness that will make any true action fan drool. By the way, the CGI and other special effects are still spectacular, even though it is 10 years since it first came out- to me, this is the mark of a great action flick.

In closing, don't get this movie if you're an Egyptologist with a background in hieroglyphics and cryptology- you will be sorely disappointed. I did no fact checking of my own but am pretty sure they took artistic liberties with the whole Egyptian motif- but again, this is the story and it is fictional so treat it as such. Don't get this movie if you're looking for nuanced characters with sublteties of depth to be shown, that too will not occur here. The characters ARE engaging and funny at times- all of which serve to make this a really good actioner worth watching more than once, but as they are appropriate to the overall story, none of them are particularly deep, but the acting was on-point as far as I was concerned. My wife happens to love the Mummy series so you can imagine I've seen them all more than once; luckily for me, I like them too!

having seen this movie in the past and wanting to see it again at my leisure, i checked ebay , found it and bought it dirt cheap...my kind of shopping experience.....i love shopping on ebay...so convenient....i am however distressed that one of the things i collect, antique ivory, is no longer going to be sold here....strange...its legal to sell pre-ban ivory everywhere in the united states, but for some inexplicable reason it will soon not be available here....someone isn't thinking clearly....i spend a great deal of money here, pass pleasurable hours shopping, and am grateful ebay came along.....keep up the good work, and perhaps revisit and correct ur few mistakes.....i really like the opportunity to express my thoughts like this, even though u were asking about a particular movie purchase james

This movie was exciting and funny and very family oriented.. Loved it. I bought it because I am one that loves to collect good movies that I do not mind watching time after time.

I like all the "Mummy" movies with Brendan Fraser. Full of excitement and adventure. I am looking forward to the newest movie coming out soon.

The mummy is a good movie with the visual effects considering that it was done before almost everything in the movie is visual effects, which means the actors are really acting and not just computer generated effects. the story line is pretty good also. I would recommend watching this movie

Good special effects, story kinda drags- I like this movie part 2 was good too. This movie is Really watchable. I like types of horror and makeup movies. I would recommend this movie as a good one to watch. Its not scary just fun. Good movie, yay- lets see what else is on.

It is one of those moves that we can watch over and over again. Perfect for a rainy lazy Sunday. The Mummy Returns and the Scorpion King complete our set.

Move was very good but I had it on vhs only and wanted it on a dvd. I am slowly replacing all of my vhs with dvd's as I find them reasonable priced.

I bought this movie because I already had it on video and I wanted to get a copy on dvd to have for my collection. Brendon Fraser is really great in this movie and if you love scary movies this is a good one for you to add to your collection.
