Mumford (DVD, 2000)

Good writing and acting... When together you get a very good movie and this is one of those that will be good to watch fifty years after its release. The value lessons were the usual but delivery was very much unusual. A billionaire pervert who desires intimacy but unclear of the process to obtain his desire. A person everyone loves to talk to becomes the best fake psychologist money can by and along the way he diagnosis and fixes his own love interest... It's a classic.

When I first saw this movie, my children said, "MOM! That's YOU!" That very day, when we were standing in line to check out this movie at Blockbuster (among several other movies ...), a man standing in line in front of us turned around and started telling me all about his troubles. I had never met this man before and probably never saw him again. But he felt compelled to open up to me. As this happens almost everywhere, this movie spoke to me. Sometimes I think I have "TALK TO ME" tattooed on my forehead. Other times I think that people just need to have someone listen in a polite manner. Whatever the deal, me and Mumford? We are soul siblings.
BESIDES all that, it is a quite cute movie, nice actors, good plot. I highly recommend it.
