Since first making his appearance into arcades everywhere, Pac-Man has inspired hour after hour of gaming fun. Now with MS. PAC-MAN MAZE MADNESS/PAC-MAN WORLD by Namco for the Game Boy Advance, players won't have to pump a machine full of quarters or sit at home to get their Pac-Man fix; they can take it with them instead. MS. PAC-MAN MAZE MADNESS takes the basic premise of Pac-Man and gives it an extra problem solving, three-dimensional edge. Players will have to navigate Ms. Pac-Man through mazes while rearranging blocks, discovering hidden keys, and keeping away from a host of enemies. That's right, ghosts are no longer the only bad guys on the block. Now Ms. Pac-Man will have to look out for wild dogs, snowmen, and fire-breathing baddies. Through all this, the maze solving aspects that drew payers to the original Pac-Man remain intact. PAC-MAN WORLD is slightly different than the maze/puzzle solving games the series is traditionally known for. Here, Toc-Man has kidnapped all of Pac-Man's friends, forcing the yellow man to work his way through several different settings as he tries to save them. While the game is strictly on a two dimensional platform, that doesn't detract from the its playability or sheer addictiveness. Players will surely be able to find something special in MS. PAC-MAN MAZE MADNESS/PAC-MAN WORLD as each title has something to offer gamers wishing for a quick trip into the extraordinary and enthusiastically animated world of Pac-Man.
