SYNOPSIS
The eccentric owner of a magical toy store surprises the shop's manager by turning over ownership to her in a warm-hearted comedy fantasy directed by Zach Helm and starring Jason Bateman, Dustin Hoffman, and Natalie Portman. ACTING
Hoffman is always gold. Jason Bateman is funny as always, and Portman (who has a bad rap for acting in Star Wars) is actually capable of Oscar worthy performances (see "V for Vendetta") and is gorgeous and lovable.

SUMMARY
Your kids'll love it (mine were enchanted, and they're tweens) and you will too.

THIS IS A MUST SEE MOVIE!

Not a bad movie but a little boring at the most of the end the movie is kind like sad movie. But I think your kids'll love it.

I think that the movie was not approirate for small children. It had a dark side to it that was too sad for children. I would not recommand this for children.

great performance...fun and cute show. I would reccomend this for any member of the family. I felt safe showing it to my kids.

When this movie first came out, I did not want to see it. It did not look interesting nor did it get great reviews, so I waited until it came out on video. I first rented it to watch with my kids but they did not watch it with me. I watched it alone and laughed so much. I loved the movie and rented it several times before realizing I should just buy it. I was going to buy it at Costco but it was $19, so I found a used copy on Ebay. Its a great movie.

My kids love this movie. They've watched this 3 times already. I myself have watched this twice and probably won't get mind watching it again. Would highly recommend to other families with children.

It was a great movie with a great story. My mother (age 59), myself (age 28) and my two year old daughter all loved it! Great family movie!

We loved the movie especially my 4 yr old daughter and my 35 yr old husband. He watched it about 4 times before we returned it to the rental company. So, I decided we needed it in our library. Kind of sad when he dies, a little strange at first, You have to really watch it to enjoy it.

good ole duston Hoffman!, Man this guy can act any part well that he plays, movie very intertaining for all ages. the whole family will enjoy.

I loved this story. Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman do an excellant job of entertaining and creating interesting characters. This story about a magical toy store will captivate the youngsters and amuse the adults. Great movie to watch with the children. No horrible language. Some scenes may be scary for really young children, but usually resolve to a positive experience. Also stars Jason Batemen and Zach Mills. The movie deals with creating faith in yourself, death and friendship, not necessarily in that order.

It was a great movie. It was magical, and really got your imagination going. I would love to see a sequel.

Enjoyed Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. It reminds me a lot of the Original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Bought this movie after seeing on hbo . My wife and kids love it. Great family video . Would recomend it to anyone looking for a great good movie to watch with the family . Very funny

This is by far my most beloved movie. I'm by no means a child, but the morals and story behind this film is one so touching and true. Sometimes we all need reminded to believe in ourselves and watching this movie can instill within us that sense of self-motivation we may need to tackle the tasks ahead. Charming film for the whole family.

I took my grandkids to see this movie when it was at the theater. It was a wonderful and memorable experience that when I seen the movie for sale on ebay I just couldn't help myself. I have quiet a collection of disney and other childrens movies that I thought that this would be a welcomed addition to my collection. This is a great comedy, Dustin Hoffman is funnier than ever! You really need to watch this movie several times to notice all the little stuff in the background that you miss the first time.

I love this item. I bought it for my 14 yr. old daughter this is tide for her favorite movie. But the whole family loves it.

This movie is good for both children and adults no swearing or violence in it. It is filled with magical toys and wonderful colours. I would reccommend this movie to everyone, it is a great family night movie.

This is a great kids movie. Who doesn't wonder if the toys come to life when no one is looking let a lone right in front of you! What fun! I wish it had a little more live toy interaction. I didn't think Dustin HOffman was the right choice for the movie.. but it worked with him in it. The kid with the hats made the movie for me!

I bought this movie for my kids because it has no cusing or nudity. If your looking for a movie for the entire family this should definetly be on the top of your list!

My kids were immediately hooked when they saw this movie in the theatre's. Excellent family entertainment.
