Superb Retro Comedy
) 
Loved the film (have seen it before). Well observed comedy only the French could have made it. Moments of high hilarity when Hulot kicks someone he thinks is being a peeping tom and spying on a girl in a tent. Also recommend playtime...by Tati.

) This is a quaint little movie that is quite enjoyable to view. It reminds me of some things from my childhood. Not everyone would probably like this movie but if you are from the era of the 1950s you might find this movie enjoyable. It is very slow moving but quite amusing.
