What I love about this product, besides the look, is the ease at which it loads music. I'm a 40 mother of 2 boys and thought it would be a challenge to figure this thing out. NOT SO! It's already compatible with Windows Media Player and has an slot for an SD card. You load the software that has the drivers and the RealPlayer music player on it, but I don't use that player. Connect the player using the cord and once on WMP, you can click on "copy to CD or device". Then under device simple scroll down and click on the device. It has the digital readout of what the song is, length and size (MB, KB, etc). It also has the FM player and a voice recorder for reminders. I bought the 256mb(New) for my 17 year old and found it so easy use that I bought 2 more on Ebay "used" - one for me and one for my 11 year old. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this item-New or Used!

The MPIO FL100, a great (but unknown) mp3 player

I'd like to give this a 4.5 out of 5, but I can't, so I went with all 5 stars. It is a superb mp3 player and gave me almost 3 years of trouble free use. I had no complaints whatsoever when I used it. I used it mainly for running and working out, so it sure took a beating and liked it!

But finally after 3 years it started to have a few problems with buttons not working, no volume, etc., and then the screen finally went bad. I can't navigate to my music without the screen, so it's not doing me much good now. At least it is still shiny and pretty!

Why it started to go bad, I have no idea. It must have just worn out. Whatever it was, this mp3 player was still a great value for the price. I also submitted a review to mp3-player-guide.com if you need any more details.
