Moving Pictures (Mercury) - Rush (CD 1997)

Beat, talent, plays nice with loud volume, plays nice with a sub-woofer. good lyrics. If you you like RUSH you should buy this. If it is not your speed sell it back to E-bay nothing lost. This group is under-rated often miss understood, often they preceede themeselves, sometimes thier music is more evolved than my tastes and then I have to catch up. I feel like there isn't a bad song on this playlist, they play nice back to back. This group only has three musicians most groups need four to get by. Nice album cover too. I have this on vinyl. I have owned this on tape. This is my second CD. Without children to tear this one up, with the advent of MP3 players and multimedia computers this should last the rest of my life.

Received in short time after payment, husband surprised and happy, haven't played it yet will let you know later about quality.

Limelight, YYZ and Red Barchetta are fan favourites and they are my favourites too. Neil’s song writing prowess is clear seen in this album. Each band member’s individual talent is showcased through out the album. Moving pictures in my opinion is an album where RUSH makes a major shift from a young band of the 70’s to an experienced band of the new millennium.

What can I say? This CD rocks!!! I've always been a big Rush fan - not only are they the most intelligent band around, they can play their instruments masterfully. I remember when Moving Pictures first came out, and it blew my mind. I was in high school at the time, and went to the concert as well. I even still have the tour book and ticket stub! THIS CD IS A MUST FOR ANY AND ALL RUSH FANS!!!

BY FAR, THIS WAS THE BAND'S GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT. EVERY SONG IS WORTH LISTENING TO, MOST ARE WORTHY OF AIR GUITAR AND DRUMS (EVEN AIR BASS!). THIS IS THE ALBUM THAT MADE RUSH A POWERHOUSE BAND THAT CAN SELL OUT THE BIG ARENAS. ALTHOUGH THE SONGS ARE VERY TECHNICAL FROM A MUSICIAN'S VIEW, THEY ARE ALL VERY EASY TO LISTEN TO. IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD THIS CD, YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON SOME GREAT MUSIC!

It is a more abundant item than the auction site of Japan. I am using what I thought always because a price is cheap.

When you think of the classic Rush, you think of Moving Pictures. Modern bands try to immitate the liveliness of Limelight, Red Barchetta and YYZ but never come close. It's a great mix of the younder Rush and the albums that were to come in the early 80s. A Must for any classic Rock, Rush or general Rock collection. I can listen to this one for days! (and have!!)

RUSH - Moving Pictures is like the gateway album into the greatest RUSH music of the early 1980's. Songs like Limelight, Red Barchetta, YYZ, Tom Sawyer, Witch Hunt and Vital Signs are just down-right great songs which are very well written. I believe that this is the album that REALLY put RUSH on the map. This gateway album is what made more RUSH fans go buy other previous albums. Tom Sawyer is the hit they are most famous for. Once people heard Tom Sawyer it was all over. You just HAD TO go out and buy the previous albums. I have listened to this album for over 20 years and NEVER get tired of it. This is one classic album that is SURE to make history. Enjoy!

Got exactly what I expected, earlier than I expected. Item was in promised condition. Excellent! I would certainly purchase something from this seller again.
