Moving Forward by Free Chapel (CD, Jul-2007, Integrity USA)

This is CD has been a real disappointment for me. I bought because I saw the name Israel Houghton on it. Israel is not even singing any songs. Some guy names Ricardo with a really sour voice is trying to sing these poorly written songs. Just christian music trying to reproduce the same old stuff to make a buck. This one is a stinker. DO NOT BUY!

This is an excellent album. Many wonderful songs. Israel Houghton is on both the cd (and soon to be released dvd) - I was there when it was recorded live. Since neither Steve or Best recognize Israel’s voice as he is speaking or singing, I am not sure what they listened to. As far as discerning real creativity, musical ability and honest emotion, I also doubt they would recognize it. Definitely TWO Thumbs Way Up.

This item needs to be judged on it's own merits and not compared to any other CD of it's type. I loved it. I heard about it from a friend and I was not disappointed.

How did this album ever get published? Ricardo Sanchez has pulled the wool over his sheep's eyes with this elementary school production. I bought this album because Israel Houghton was purported to be featured in it but he made a poor choice backing Freechapel's musical debut without taking the time to investigate the "talent" involved. Most of the songs were led by Ricardo, a talentless, ridiculously starry-eyed money grubber who seems to find greatness in himself. The cover reflects the ego and self-centeredness that became blatantly obvious as I listened to the songs. This album lacks real creativity, musical ability and honest emotion. Two thumbs WAY down. Give me a break, Rico!

This is a really moving cd. Israel and Ricardo did a great job together. Its really great for those who are having trouble moving past a point in their life. It is moving, spirited and worshipful all at the same time. A do not miss. I think it was done live at Free Chapel in Gainesville GA under Jentzen Franklin's Kingdom Connection Ministry. A quality production.

I bought this cd as I had heard a song from it - Moving Forward - the title song on the Christian Radio station I listen to. I love this CD. It has everything - drums, guitars, horns, fantastic choir, etc. The songs are all awesome worship songs and you really feel the love for God as you listen to each and every song. You feel the love, the praise, the power of worship and we walk away knowing that as Christians we have the perfect and most powerful God of any religion in existance. If I ever get down to Georgia - I would definately go to the church for the experience live.

i love all the songs on this cd. my church choir has sung alot of these songs on the album, and it's just nice to be able to hear these songs that i've grown to love at home!!! very pleased with this purchase, it was money well spent.

This is one of the best praise and worship CD's that I own. It keeps me in the zone of worshiping the Lord. I buy it as a gift for my family and friends on any occasion that comes around. And I would also like to say for people that write a review about the CD, I can understand if you have an opinion and might not enjoy as much as most of us do because we ALL have our own likes and dislikes about music or the singer's voice and or performance, but to judge someone because their picture is on the front of the CD or say they are in it for the money only. It is unfair to judge the person's character when you know nothing about them except for their singing voice. I am SURE that Ricardo is in this business for the winning of souls and to worship God. He is doing that and I hope that he continues to do so for a long time. God Bless.
