A Historical and Cultural lesson in Miniature
Victoria jewelry has always been very attractive to me, mourning jewelry in particular is fascinating. The whole culture, starting with the Georgians, of wearing and displaying very personal items in honor of the "dear departed" is very romantic. This book is the most comprehensive book of its kind on the market right now. Not only does it show lovely mourning memorabilia, it is a history lesson and the items are time capsules. I love this book and am very happy to have purchased it.
