Mountbatten: The Last Viceroy (DVD, 2006, 2-Disc Set)

This PBS special presents the great-grandson of Queen Victoria, Lord Louis Mountbatten, who distinguished himself in WWII and afterward by helping end the colonial rule in South Asia. Nicol Williamson does an outstanding job as Mountbatten who presided over India's liberation from the British Empire. You will also see Ian Richardson as Nehru and Sam Dastor as Mahatma Gandhi and Janet Suzman plays the part of Lady Mountbatten.
This was a piece of history. It would also be rated for more mature audiences because of the content. Wonderfully done by superb British actors.

I haven't seen my copy yet. But rented it from the library and then decided to buy it.Always loved the acting, history. Had a really good seller..And one can picture being part of the whole Indian scene....
