I had V60i for 5 years and hoped that V60s is a similar product. Unfortunately, not even close. The device is much larger. Despite that the battery does not hold as well as the much smaller battery of V60i. The unit flips with an unpleasant click. Being brand new it started to lose contact in between flipping parts. Moreover, there is no appropriate manual available on-line. I received wrong manual from the eBay seller. There are not explainable symbols on the display. It does look that this product is not a legitimate Motorola telephone. Stay away from it.
In addition to the above. This phone (brand new) simply died on me less than 2 months of a very light use. There is no more reliable contact between flipping parts. Mostly no contact. The talk is impossible. The battery does not hold. I could not imagine anything worse. Trashed it and bought Nokia.
I bought this phone because it is just like the one we had. We knew how to use it and it didn't have all that fancy stuff we don't need. So we love it.
The Motorola V60 series of phones are good basic cell phones. I use my phone for making phone calls and this phones works just fine for that. I have owned one for two years now and it has never failed me. I have dropped it and even lost it in the snow for over a week and once thawed out it worked just fine. This is a good basic phone that will provide years of service for you.
The condition of the phone is fantastic (New). The phone is the right size for me to use with hearing aids. Many phones(non- flip) made today are too small to use comfortably. If you don't wear hearing aids that might not make sense. Don't like Verizon phone service. Verizon can't seem to get a bill right. The mistakes are always in their favor, go figure.
This phone was actually BETTER than described. My bad for not getting online to give a rave review earlier. 100% trust and would buy from this seller again.
I remember buying this phone for like 300$ when it first came out. Granted it doesn't have camera, or even colour screen, this was an EXCELLENT phone. It is small, compact, decent battery and handled well. The one drawback to this phone was the large antenna and charging port, again a common thing amongst V series models.
The antenna would rub in my pocket, and well the charger if anyone who was had an older motorola phone knows what i'm talking about. Mind you, I personally didn't have problems with the charger, I know it is a problem area.
I got the phone fast, it works great, havent had any problems with the phone at all. i would definately buy from this seller again. It worked out great for my son who lost his original phone, and I wasnt paying allot for him toget another phone.
Had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with E-Bay!!!!! I bought & paid $200.05 for item # 130078200674 on Feb 15 2007 with a Hampden Bank M.O. The seller was blinder_pr from Bayamon, PR 00959 ; phone number 787 410 9411. I just wanna know what E-Bay is gonna do about the "FRAUD" I always enjoyed buying on E-Bay, but could never use this service again if I never recieve the very expensive phone that I thought I had bought & paid for. Still in hopes that E-Bay will do something about this. Thank You Mario Fiore
The phone is simple but very dependable, does not have all the extras, therefore, the battery holds up better. The trimode works great in our area where all other digital phones do not work.
I bought the Motorola V60s to replace a V60 that had been stolen. I need to have one or the other type to work in a Cellport system. It took three weeks after purchasing it to recieve the phone. The phone is not working well in that immediately after connecting it hangs up on any call to a destination out of the immediate area. Had I been able to purchase it directly from a brick and mortar store (I could not) I would definately take it back., As it is I am stuck.
This is a fine phone without useless extras. It is trimode and can access the analogue network when necessary. The audio quality and speaker phone is the best there is. Lay it open on your dashboard and it is as good as any car kit. It has no camera so it won't be confiscated at screenings or in high security situations. The small screen will not call unwanted attention in a darkened room or theater. Reception and transmission performance in marginal situations is about average. The connector used to charge the phone is delicate and can be a source of frustration. It lacks a simm card so the only way to import your phone numbers to or from another phone is to back them up them to a computer using an USB cable and software, about $10 on ebay. Batteries are cheap and can last more than 4 days with moderate use. The shape is a bit slippery in your hands. Verizon considers this phone obsolete and will want to sell you a newer one for $200.
This item appeared to be a good deal at first. However, after I activated the phone I quickly discovered that the headset speaker did not work, the phone would only work with speaker phone. I brought it to service department and they couldn't do anything for me, they said they don't carry phones this old anyway.
My husband and I both got this phone when we signed up with Verizon. And let me tell you, we've each hated our phones since day 1. The menus are hard to navigate through, the battery doesn't charge right, if at all, my husband doesn't even get half of his calls even when he has 5 bars. I'm sorry to the seller but I do NOT recommend this phone to anyone. We have five months until we can trade ours in and we'll be running to the Verizon store!
Good product i got. i was aware about the fetures of the phone , so was worried about the condition and body condition of the product. I got a good product and good condition
