Motorola V60i (Verizon Wireless)

This seller refused to take the phone back when I discovered Verizon would not activate it on their network since it was not 911 compatible. Further, the seller does not take paypal and insists on getting your credit card number, which makes me suspicous. Do not buy this phone or deal with this seller.

was sold a cell phone that does have 911 they told me the phone can not be put into service. the phone was cheap,the s/h was very high

I've never had any problems with this phone. I've always had great reception, nothing ever broke and it's always worked very well anywhere I was at.

This is a nice phone to look at.But i have be unable to use because it is not a verizon wireless.Verizon has know ideal who it belongs to so im still resecarching this phone.

I decided to buy this phone because my current one was having reception problems and kept dropping calls. I thought it would be a good phone to get me by for the time being.. i was wrong. When I called verizon to switch my phone.. they told me a new law recently passed made the phone null and void. It was useless because it didn't have 911 tracking capabilities. I wish I would have been told that before hand.. but without the esn # on the phone being posted, I couldn't check. The seller was very punctual though and sold the phone for a fair price, although the fact that it was unusable kind of ruined that. So my advice, don't buy an older phone model, even if its cheap.

You can not activate cell phones that are older like the 60i as they do not the 911 chip in them. I bought several in a row and lost money on it as e-bay did not care that the phones are obsolete and that the sellers sold phones that said they would work and cant be used. E-BAY WILL NOT HELP YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK. BE VERY CAREFUL!

The Motorola V60i can not be activated anywhere in the USA because it is not GPS (Global Postioning System) compliant. If it were activated, when calling 911 the rescue people would not be able to find the caller. My seller was very honest and refunded my money when informed of this problem. I sent the phone back to the seller but it is of no use in the USA. I have heard that it might be activated in other countries.

I've known others with this phone and they all thought it was great! Better reception than many of the more expensive phones. Looks like a good deal to me!!

Be careful! If a seller doesn't show the ESN numbers. Also if they don't have the box where you check to see if this will work in your area. You might as well not bid on item. I just purchase one of these. I emailed seller and got no responds. The ESN number seller has listed in description was different than what was on phone. So I just learned about buying a used phone. I should have read whole description and checked the "See if Phone will work in your zip area". Mistake learned on my part.Also learned my area phone has to have the E911! It's always something new every year. The phone itself is very great. Reception was great on this phone. I wish all cell phone had the metal front and back. It's a tad heavier than phones today. The battery hold charge is wonderful. 4 Days standby and still fully charge. Thank you for taking time to read my review. Happy ebaying!!

When my cell phone was stolen I was looking for an inexpensive replacement. This phone is simple, no camera or color screen, but it looks nice and is durable. The casing is metal I think, pretty resistant. One thing I don't love about it -- I can't seem to have an audible/vibrate combination ring. It is one or the other. It also has only 3 lines of text visible at a time. that might be a turn-off to avid texters. It hasn't been a problem for me.

If you are looking for an easy to use phone without all the bells and whistles, like a camera, this is the phone for you. And the speaker phone and voice dialing make it even easier to use for hands-free calling in the car.

I got mine new from Verizon. I have had cell phones since the 80s, by far the best one yet. I did wear out a battery after over 2 yrs. Make sure the one you buy is 911GPS compliant. Some of the older ones are not.

The Motorola 60i cell phone.......is the best phone I have ever had.Better signal,alot less dropped calls. I tried the v-262 it doesnt even come close to the 60i. Ive tried LG phones.....They really suck. I have tried about 5 different phones.....and Trust me...the 60i motorola is SIMPLY THE BEST HANDS DOWN. Better buy them up on e-bay..like i am doing....before there all gone.....thats the only place you can still find any. regards' .....................Keith

I don't like or love anything about the particular cellphone that I bought. I dislike the fact that I got ripped off and the seller is hiding behind e-bay.I decided to buy it because Motorola is a great company and makes good prouducts and I previously owned the same cellphone years ago which got water damaged since then this model has been discontinued so thats why I thought I would be able to find it on e-bay which I did and thats where the NIGHTMARE began.

I bought two of these phones as replacements for friends stuck in contracts and not eligible for upgrades. I like the metal casing for durability, but since they are now kids' play phones, who cares about durability. These phones do not have the e911 chip and cannot be activated. Buyer beware!

it is a good cellular phone at a excellent price, i like very much this one. it's all about this purchase.
