Motorola V400 (Unlocked)

This unit is superb, sleek. I can check emails, browse the web, read & write text messages, Easy to navigate menus, simple but stylish, gives great signal, with built in speaker, size not too small not, too big, not heavy ,not light but built in camera is not great in taking or storing pictures.

This phone is great
Goood size LCD, battery life not bad 2-3 days depending how much you talk.
camera good, menus navigation very easy, has MMS/AIM/Chat LCD resloution very good, has sun display that show call diaplay and time.

Quad band, so reception is quite good. Flip phone so you must watch hinge not to break, flex cable is quite expensive to repair and not covered by warranty, I haven't broken mine but have seen many people break them and think it's covered by warranty.

If you take care of this phone it will last you long time, I defintely recommend!

This was a replacement cell phone - the first one fell in the water. Love the phone and already had one other of the same model so wanted same again so chargers etc were interchangeable. It's a really good cell phone.

This phone is phenomenal with a great display and quad-band cover, it'll definitly keep you occupied with the many MP3 ringtones you can use as individual ringers for personal contacts. Text messaging is a blast and very easy to use. The camera offers a high-resolution snap-shot of most scences. The phone also has a cool quick volume button letting you adjust ring volume almost instantanously, even if the phone is in closed mode. I found this very valuable when traveling and in school class rooms.

A definitly great phone with WOLRD coverage, great receptions, and awesome quality.

This is a great flip phone the quad band is hard to beat; when other phones that i have used would not have good service this one always does; never a signal probelm, the batteries are not too good they don't hold charge like some of the Nokia ones but overall this phones has enough great features to over look the battery

The Motorola V400 is a great phone for the ones that live in an area were there is low signal. It has anntena port on the back so you can add an additional antenna to get out in those hard to get areas. So for the ones that have a V400 now and didn't know that now you do and for the ones that are looking to get out in those hard areas now you know what to do. Just ask your Cingular sells rep about the ports. Bt if you are in the Indiana area and need to know stop by Mitchell Indiana and they will know for sure. Thank You for reading my thoughts. Angela

I Will be in Africa by Apirl this year and I need this gsm phone. When I get there the only thing I will is a sim card which comes with cell number and I'm all set to communicate back to my family in Cailfornia and Africa.
Motorola is always my best phone, and used phone is ok and simple to use, and I can give it to someone when returning to the USA.

What I like about this product is that I bought it for what I think is a fair price. It was in very good condition, works very well. The only thing I do not like is that it doesn't take video clips. Otherwise a very good product.

it was a great price compared to what my husband had purchased it from cingular. i loved his so i looked for one for me. and i got it for a steal. i have had no problems with this product. and it picks up vwhere most phones wouldn't. i have no cmplaints at all.

So far I am pleased with my purchase of the used V400. The camera has good resolution and has a close-up feature. The camera seems to be well built to stand-up for long use. I has good to excellent reception depending on your location, works in stores, cars and houses where others that I have had will not. Phone is supposed to be able to connect to laptop and use the laptop for getting on line.
So far the up to now on the down side. The ringer control on the out side of the phone is touchy and will change when the phone is put in it's pouch or if you handle it and touch the change button by mistake. My phone screen will shut down if you don't do any functions quickly, like phoning out, checking my messages or taking pictures.
If I had the chance to purchase a newer model V400 or V500 for the price that I purchased the one that I have, I would do so for my wife to use.

I recieved the phone and started to use it. I started not recieving phone calls from people, I had bad signal whereever I went with the phone I approached the seller about it and he blamed it on the service, told me the phone was tested and refused to provide any type of refund policy for me. I decided to buy the phone because I needed a new phone as my old one was broken, since this issue I have been forced to use my old phone again because this new phone just doesn't work at all.

At first I thought I put a bid on a new cell phone until I received it. Then I found out that it did not come with a charger. I reviewed the sellers page and they disclosed it but you had to work hard to find it. The cell phone worked and it was in good condition but they need to headline "USED PHONE" so it is clear to the buyers and make it clear that it has no charger. Shipping was good and took no time to get to me.

The phone worked great for about 3 days then only worked in certain areas and couldn't hear the other person. We are very disapointed in the phone.

I've had this phone for almost 2 1/2 years and still works perfect since the day I've had it. I purchased it through Cingular and now have T-mobile and it still works! The only thing that doesn't still work is the internet, but that's cause I changed carriers. If I switched back to cingular, I know it would work perfectly still. If you have a chance to get a phone like this one, you won't be disapointed. The camera is great, the sound is great. My hubby has gone through 4 phones in the last year and I've had this almost 2 1/2yrs. You can't get better than that. This is probably the only Motorola that is worth anything and great quality.

The Motorola v400 was listed as like new, it was a little more scratched and dented than like new. But the phone was in good working order. I decided to buy the phone for my daughter because she dropped hers and broke it and every phone I was looking at or bidding on everyone was out bidding me or buying them, so instead of bidding I just bought. The phone is still in use today with no problems.

I have had many cell phones since my first in 1987. The Motorola V400 is by far the best. Of course technology has advanced so much in the past few years that the older phones cannot compare to the latest on the market, however, when the V400 hit the market it was way ahead of its peers. You cannot go wrong with this phone but alas along comes the Razr and soon another advancement will hit the market. I am happy with my V400, never had a problem with it,but if I had, it came with a 1 year warranty and could have been replaced FREE. Try it, you will like it.

I loved my phone how ever its a little bigger than some of the newer ones out now It has always worked great and the layout easy to use

Pluses: I have four of these phones. This Quadband phone has worked amazingly well in Albania, Italy, Croatia, England, France, Argentina, Peru and Ecuador. Triband phones they try to sell you are NOT international phones. Thousands of cool faceplates are made for this phone not made yet for newer phones. Minuses: the phone is fragile. I have such a cool faceplate, I am buying a used one (it is discontinued) to replace a dropped one that died. However, if it gets wet, wait a couple of weeks...one of my phones started working again.

Watch out for the ear piece speaker. It was recalled and also the speaker phone part may not work. I found this out after having the phone for over a year and now I have to use a earpiece to make it work. Just a little FYI.

This Phone is the best EVER!! Any1 BUY IT! it has a great camera and it is a great layout!You may not like the face but it is the best ever... if u have the chance you should but one it is affordable an loveable!!!!

People needs to better describe the products so the buyer can know what is purchasing. I have to clean this cell phone so it can work fine.

It was a perfect replacement to my old phone and it was just as describe in the auction. Being honest in the description of the item is very important. It builds confidence in buying again.
