Motorola V365 (AT&T)

I bought this V365 to replace my original V365 which I had previously smashed. I had debated whether to get the same phone again or move up to a fancy pda type phone. Long story short I decided to just get another V365 as I had been really happy with my original V365's performace and overall ruggedness. I was very nervous about purchasing this from Ebay but I figured for $40.00 buck, what the heck, I'll take a gamble.
Boy am I ever glad I did because I certainly took the pot in this hand. This phone was in absolute 'NEW' condition and the seller paid for the shipping costs. The phone arrived, I installed my old battery which was already charged up, and turned her on. Whoa, what a suprise to find out not does this V365 work flawlessly, as my old one used to, but this V365 is evidently updated beyond my old one. I've found a few new features, such as 'MP3 Ready', that my original didn't have. I've also beleive the displays details are richer and have a better, deeper hue to them. Maybe it's just been so long since I used my original I forgot how great this phone looks. I don't understand why the cell phone companys keep discontinuing all the great phones they once put out. I'm sure thankful I was still able to find it on good old Ebay!
If you're looking for a good 'basic' cell phone, you can't go wrong with this flip. I would recommend to anybody who is hard on phones. It took almost two years of my explosive to finally break this phone's 'camel's back', and I sure missed it once I did. The V365 does all the popular cell phone basic tricks, with caller 'picture' and 'ring' ID, text, SMS, blue tooth, camera, video, MP3 audio, calendar, To Do list, Alarms, ect. It even does the whole internet and web browsing thing if you want to pay the company for the service (which I don't).
This has by far been the best phone I have ever used for functionality, dependablitly, signal strength, clarity, ease of use, and I can hear on it as I'm not constantly saying ' What, I didn't hear that, can you repeat that?'

I bought this phone because it is tough as nails! The speaker is loud and clear! IT can take a few bumps and drops and still work! This is the tonka of all phones!

easy to hold on to, not like the slim lines that people with big hands have a problem holding in their hand,....recommended

Best phone I have ever owned. I work construction and my last V365 was wiped out by a road grader because it jumped out of my holster. I found it an hour later and both screens were destroyed, battery cover broken, battery damaged. I tried to re-assemble the best way I could and believe it or not it still worked. I used it until I got my new one from Monster Cellular. Shame on Motorola for discontinuing this line but kudos for Monster Cellular for picking up a great phone. I will be buying another for a back-up just in case!!

this is a great phone and will take a better beating then others. the ringer is louder then other phones and I can hear on this phone better then others that i have used or owned.

I use these tough little phones in my construction business. They are easy to use and hold up well in the field.

We have several of these phones, they are great very dependable.
Don't work well if you run over them with a car or dump truck.

Loved the phone but the sound only worked one week. I travel a lot and was unable to get the phone back to the seller in the one week warranty time. I am sad. I do not recommend buying a phone unless there is a one month return warranty. Anyone want to buy a phone with no sound?

great phone many features. the only dislike is that the phone is kinda bulky. it won't fit in my other carring case.

We bought one of these for our daughter last year to replace a Motorola V551 that had volume issues. I was surprised when we set it up, how loud the speaker was. Another one of our Motorolas, a V557, developed an ear piece loudness issue (maybe it is a Motorola marketing ploy?) so we ordered this phone for our use. Wow! The volume is fantastic. It has lots of featueres, including the push to talk (which we haven't used yet), and if my daughter's is any indication, is very durable. The back is a little susceptible to damage, but nothing a bit of tape or a cover can't fix. We are comfortable with the procedure for Motorola cell phones and so far have pretty much stuck with them (other than a couple of Nokia slab phones) and except for the volume issues with the mouth piece and ear piece on a few, they have been very good phones for us. After further use, we have found that the v365, which does not have an external antenna (the v557 does), is not as usable in low signal areas. I guess the external antenna does help if you have a weak signal, that could be an issue for some.

this is one of the best phones we ever had, for distance talking, durability and clear voice. The features are just great too

I work for ATT and am very familiar with this unit I have carried and sold it for over 2 years. This is an excellent phone with good reception and great durability, also it has a ton of extra features MP3 player, expandable memory, etc. and also is very used frendily it has the same traditional Motorola Menu set up which is very convienent for a seasoned Motorola users. I recomend this phone to anyone looking for something tough and used friendly.

Small and rugged, yet has superior reception, even in the "dead zones". A little bulky by today's "tech geek" standards, but I think that may be why the reception is so good. Still fits nicely in your hand, just a little thick.

The phone is a back up. I did not realize how narrow it was, but that's my fault. It is built sturdy and is a really nice phone, but not for my big hands. I use it a lot and it works just fine.

Very rugged phone, however it shuts its self off every once in a while and you don not know if has shut down.

I love this phone because it is rugged and has good performance. I hate they do not make it anymore, but love that I can find them on Ebay

this phone was normally going for twice the price i paid for it. I had my ebay feelers out and when i saw this i jumped at the price. the phone was brand new, sealed and in perfect shape.... these were hard to come by.. i had been watching for about a month and a half..

I purchased this phone a month ago and I am extremely please with the product and the features. The phone is well made and for a older model phone it does have Bluetooth capabilities. I am not a "texter" so I am not sure how good it would be for someone who texts a lot. I like Motorola older phone because they seem to be of better quality and last long with fewer problems.
