Sb5100 has been great with my Charter cable connection. I have had ZERO problems with the modem. It works great with my DI-624 as well. Makes for a steady, reliable connection. No complaints!

So far everything works great just having trouble making a config on it but it works good besides that.

This modem is very good. its fast, its sleek, and its docsis 2.0 compatible. you want fast? this is the modem to get. this or the 5101, 5120, 6120 are the best modems out.

The unit I got was defective, so I can't really give a review about it. The Standby button wasn't working. The modem could not establish connection with my ISP.

it was the modem that software was written for complete administration this particular unit was simply used and dirt cheap and it was the model i needed for my project

Plugged it in and it worked beautifully without my needing to tweak anything at all. Works great and hasn't needed a reboot or any maintenance in the past two months! Definately recommend to anyone looking for a cable modem.

Pros: a modem is a modem they say. This one is small, black in color and looks great compared to my old surf board modem. Love the STAND BY button that lets you disconnect the signal to the computer and or router instantly while the modem stays connected to th

Cons: Minor con...No power on / off button and no reset button, if you need to reset your modem you need to unplug it.

I bought this orriginally to get out of paying the rental fees charged by the cable company. it is very fast, and easy to use!

I bought this item because Is very hard to find in my town and I realy need it because I repeiar other damage modem... and my personal opinion... is a very good item, stable and lasting good. The only problem is that it has discontinued and is quite difficult to get good price.
