I got this phone after my 2 years contract ended. I bought it for it's memory which according to Verizon is 64 MB. I didn't realize it was built-in flash memory. When I got the phone it had around 20 MB free memory. My phone gets excellent reception most of the time.
It has two weak points, its camera and vibration. The camera is just okay, it takes blurry pictures even in daylight. And when it vibrates you can feel it but it's not that strong. If you are looking for a good camera phone with good vibration, don't buy it. Other than that it is good phone.
It is an excellent speaker phone I often use it as mp3 player. You can use up to 2 GB microSD memory card. When you take pictures, you have to option to save them on the phone or SD card. The battery life is good, I can play songs for about 2.5 hours until batery it low.
It also has bluetooth and I was able to connect it to my computer without any hassle.I can use MP3 songs as ring tones and pictures as caller ID. Other features include Alarm Clock, Calculator, Voice Commands, Notepad and games. It came with only one game (Pac Man) which was a demo. So you have to get your games from Verizon Wireless.
Over all I would give Motorola L7C 8 out of 10.
Pros: speakerphone, bluetooth, size, battery, weight

Motorola SLVR L7c Dummy Cellphones

There is an implication that these phones may have some parts interchangeable with a real version of the phone (such as parts of the case). There is NOTHING on the Dummy phones that can be used on the real phone. They are nothing but toys for children. Be aware of this if anyone suggests you buy one for parts. The seller states in the auction that "many people buy these for their perfectly good housings". The housings on these Dummy phones are totally different than on the real L7c and not at all usable.

Very Sturdy Slvr

This phone is very sturdy despite its thin shape. The only flaw is that the buttons are flush to the phone, which is similar to the motorola razr that many people have. The main difference between the razr and the slvr is the slvr is not a flip phone. The slvr is very light and compact and I have had no problems with it. I would recommend the slvr to anyone who wants a sturdy, dependable phone.

Love the slim compact design, but the texting features I dislike compared to those of brands like LG. The camera also isn't very impressive, very pixel-like and blurry.

IF your looking into buying a phone, think about this one. A friend owned one before me and he treated it pretty badly and it still worked like new. I bought one and even though its used it still is like brandnew. Features include mp3 player (required memory card) Video Camera + still camera, and lots of other features that yuor sure to enjoy. It also has bluetooth so now you can bluetooth pictures, videos, contacts and other stuff from your computer. All in all its a good phone to have, no on really owns one anymore either because they have stop selling them in the stores.

It has roughly the same weight as a real SLVR, and I was able to use the keypad from it to replace my keypad that was falling appart on my Motorola SLVR.
All in all, a great buy ;-)

I love this phone and have even bought a back up off e-bay jic the one I have breaks. A little extreme I know, but it's so tough to find a cellphone that's actually good these days, especially when companies keep changing designs and going after different gimmicks trying to get the edge. This is a solid phone that gets the best service I've had yet and its candy bar shape fits in your pocket with out the feeling that you're carting around a grapefruit in your pants. I'd recommend this to anyone.

I LIKED THIS PHONE BECAUSE IT WAS SMALL AND IT WASNT A FLIP PHONE... MOTOROLA MAKES GREAT PHONES AND I NEVER HAD ONE THAT DIDNT LAST A LONG TIME. THE ONLY THING IS TO LOOK OUT FOR REFURBISHED PHONES BECAUSE SOME DONT WORK.. ITS A GREAT PHONE FOR GREAT MONEY!

The slvr L7c has been sort of a white whale for me for a few years now. I don't know why exactly. I've always been attracted to bar phones, and the slvr is a pretty one isn't it? Only problem is that's where the fascination ends abruptly. The minute you go from admiring to using, the phones flaws become rather evident.
I really really REALLY dislike Motorola and their "I'm too good for normal T9" sensibilities. I had this problem with my 2 razers before this slvr, and the slvr sadly uses the exact same interface for texting. I enjoy it most when you go to type something like "no." and wind up with a phone prefix from your contacts. Never mind the pain you should prepare for lest you use the 8 key twice in a word and are treated to every 800 number you have EVER dialed. Aside form Motorolas usual problem with texting, I find the reception "meh" in comparison to the razer even, the picture quality is trash, BUT it is pretty and it does work (unlike my blackberry). So I give the slvr, one of my most sought after relics of electronics I've wanted since I was 18 a simple.. meh, totally average, trust me on this, buy LG, you won't regret it.
