Smaller screen=hard to see, but same quality as RAZR

I really do love the thin, flat shape of this phone as apposed to its sister, the RAZR, being kinda fat and chunky in comparison. I love pink and for the pink version of this phone, the fact that the number pad was also pink helped me make my decision, as well as the rubber grips on the key pad--they light up to a very bright blue when pressed or when the phone is ringing. Helps!
The ringtone sound quality is just as superb as the RAZR and v500 and this is clearly why motorola does so well-- mp3s come out sounding just as good, if not better, than an mp3 player! The l6 I purchased is an unlocked european version that comes with added features that I really like, such has color options for the camera and video (black and white, green-tint, blue-tint, red-tint, sepia) and has a good variety of already downloaded ringtones-- one that I actually really used! It's called "Liquid." One of the drawbacks is that sometimes callers have said they couldn't hear me. I blame it on the positioning of the microphone-- when holding the phone to your ear, the tiny hole you speak into is flush against your cheek! Holding it any other way seems unnatural and I end up using the headset more often than I have ever done with any previous phone. It also displays Cingular as my service even though I am a t-mobile customer. And, in addition, constantly displays the roaming icon. I contacted the person I bought it from and he said that it's normal and has no effect on my bill--and he is right. My monthly bill has continued to be consistant. No roaming or any other charges. All in all, as someone who had the v500 & RAZR, I really have come to prefer the L6.

Love its looks; hate everything else. Hard to dial numbers. Convoluted phonebook software designed by an idiot and very difficult to access stored numbers quickly. Quick dial numbers cannot be reprogrammed once entered. One-touch dialing does not work; phone dials whomever it wants inspite of repeated programming. Very cheesy voice dial. I will never buy another Motorola again. I want my Nokia back!

Yeah this phone is cute but it's not what it's made out to be. i bought this phone because t was cute and pink and my service provider didnt ffer it, i put my SIM card in and yea my contacts were there but dont expect to be able to browse the internet, download ringtones, talk on Instant Messenger, send picture texts or video texts. i guess thats what you get for getting a phone that doesnt belong to your service provider.

why sellers sell some many times items that they put on auction saying on the description that they din´t test but most of time they test allready they knows before auction what the the phones problem is but they don´t say the true to buyers and they just let peoples bid like lotery because some time came like sellers desciption says but most of time nothing is true about description. and they make us spend money for nothing good.
