Motorola SLVR L6 (Unlocked)

I was VERY weary of purchasing a phone online and wasn't sure if it would work with my service provider (Cingular). I read reviews where people couldn't get the phone to work or perform certain functions, particularly text messaging and internet/web. I have had no problems with either. All of my phone functions are working. I did have to set up the internet and MMS but it only took a few minutes. Go to Cingular.com and click on support. Click on Device Setup. The instructions tell you step by step how to set up your browser settings. Follow the instructions and your web browser should work. Tip: Some of the menus may not look the same or be under the same headings shown in the instructions. I had to search the menus on my phone and I did have to create a whole new entry for Media Net because it was not listed. I am not sorry I purchased the phone.

This motorola isn't bad. It takes great pictures and video images. I like the ease of using the buttons (I have larger fingers). I also like that it is very easy to navigate through the menu. The only two things I don't like are that it's difficult to delete pictures. (User must go through a lot of steps to delete pictures...good or bad depending on how you look at it.) The other thing I don't like about it is the sound quality of my voice to my listeners when I'm using the speaker feature. Their clarity is great but they can't really understand me too well. This phone didn't cost that much. Overall, the quality and the price compare to each other. You get what you pay for and so I would recommend this phone to a friend.

Motorola SLVR w/ iTunes Phone – Review

So far so good. I do not own an iPod so this phone was an easy choice for me. 512mb of music is about four to five albums worth music and is plenty enough for me. Complete with multiple alarms, ring tones, games, wallpapers, camera, and Bluetooth, this phone has all the fun features. Using the USB cord to recharge the battery at the same time I sync my iTunes playlists is very convenient.

PROS – Four plus albums of music is enough to last many hours.

CONS – Wireless internet access button easy to hit on accident, causing you to log in for a few seconds, transfer a small amount of data, and get billed for it, before you can press and confirm cancel. Perhaps a connection confirmation would be more user friendly since there is a cancel confirmation.

I love this phone. It's small, skinny, and a very unique design. I like the size of the buttons, especially the green and red call buttons. The camera is average, but it works fine for thumbnail photos when you transfer them to your computer. It comes with a cable that allows for connecting to your computer, which is great. You can transfer photos and contacts, etc., but my favorite part is transfering music. It came with software that allows you to edit any mp3 file you have into a ringtone, and then transfer them to the phone. Thanks to its large memory, I have been able to put many whole songs on my phone. So, even though it lacks a built in mp3 player like the next generation, you can still load many songs on and play them through the speaker (which sounds very good with quiet stuff like old Death Cab or Kings Of Convenience).

Reception is great! the only thing I have had trouble with is battery life. I was promised something like 4-5 days, and it usually only lasts about a day and a half. maybe I missed something I was supposed to do with the brand new battery? oh well. I still recommend it!

I had a SLVR for a while (before I picked up the KRZR) and found it to be a very good phone. I had it unlocked and used it with my T-Mobile SIM card for about three months before I decided to opt for the better features and VERY SLIM clamshell design of the KRZR.

I would have loved it if it didnt need a sim card.. I have cricket service and they dont use sim cards so it was useless to me.. but sold it to someone at work and they love it.. It was everything that it said it was...

I bought the phone for my brother-in-law again because I have a paypal account.My brother-in-law wanted a phone that is reasonably priced and fun to have and also small and compact and light and not burdensome,also he liked the fact that it is unlocked he can operate it anywhere in the world.Isn't that great. That is why I decided to buy it for him.

the sliver has tons of storage space ring tones but the picture quality is not as good as the razor.the video performance is also not as good as the razor.

I purchased this unit for the price for my daughter. It has issues with the screen sticking and not turning off. You have to take the battery off to unstick the phone. I am sure when not refurbished it is a great unit.

I brought the phone for my dad originally...it came in a timely fashion and was a really good purchase in my opinion. My father loved the phone and it worked excellently. I would recommend buying a phone from this vendor.

This phone was for my daughter and she loves it. It is everything that we thought it was going to be. It was mailed very fast.

Order was shiped quick. Phone wall charger has round plug pins, which used in asian countries with 220w. I made at least 3 calls to seller, left massages on his answering machine, but never heared from them. Now I have to buy new 110w wall charger,as I can not use that came with phone (round pins.) Also there were no convertor in the packge too. I hope seller will get massage , we only use flat electric pins in U.S.A.and hopefuly send me right one. All othor transections were satisfactory. It was good othorwise.

I liked the description of the phone and when I got the phone I was very happy of the state of the phone because it was as described and very new. I am very satisfied I bought this phone and it is serving the purpose for which it was bought. There is nothing I hate about this phone.

Well I was mislead thinking all the features 4 this phone actually works 4 t-mobile but it doesn't. I don't have internet access with. Nor can't eye download ringtones, etc. the battery also dies fast. The only thing about the phone that I like is the design. One could put it in ones pocket without it being noticible.

Phone looks great, sounds great. I have T-Mobile (which is what they said this phone was compatible with) but it shows Cingular as my service provider and because of this my Browser won't connect. Also, phone is very touchy. Whenever I put the phone in my purse it seems to start playing a game all on it's own. Most annoying. I will never purchase another phone through e-bay again. I will from now on only purchase my phones thru my carriers website or store only...

I was very pleased with this purchase. It was delivered on time. The phone was new, withought a scratch (just like it said). It was so easy to set up, all I had to do was put the battery in, my sim card in, and charge it and it worked with no problems. (Every time I have signed a new contract with AT&T/Cingular I have had a problem with the phone I got from them.) All the accessories were in there just like the description, and the plastic was unopened. This was my first E-Bay purchase, and I am very happy with it!!!!!!

I have really enjoyed this product. It has a farely large screen yet it is small and thin enough to fit anywhere. I have dropped it a few times and it still work like a charm so I know it is a durable product. I love the camera feature and it has enough memory to take a load of pictures. I would recomend this phone to anyone.

I purchase this phone after reviewing the seller's discription ,it stated that the phone was brand new , with that information I bid and payed for the phone the same day. when the phone arrived I attempted to charge it up , and it failed, I kept getting a negative reading on the phone that indicated that it was defective,I e-mailed the seller several times ,and never received a response for quite awhile, and I still haven't been refunded yet.I filed claim with pay-pal to resolve this matter and I'm still waiting, and still don't have a phone that I want , I wonder how these seller's can get away with misleading the buyer, and then the buyer has to pay the consequences .

I bought this phone because I'd previously purchased one on eBay just like it but in another color. The style is sleek, less parts to break than a flip phone, good screen size, easy to operate and format; works w/SIM cards that coincide w/the old ATT SIM cards; highly recommended.

I mean its not the greatest phone there is. But i love it.

i also got the motorola phone tools (purchased from some other seller) i can download my own ring tones and my own pictures. and its very easy to do. its a no brainer.
