Motorola RAZR V3m (Verizon Wireless)

Regardless of all the negative reviews of this I have found none. This is my 2nd Razr and they have done what they are supposed to do and they do very well. Reception and clarity on both ends has always been exceptional.

I decided to buy the phones because I wanted to buy razr phones for my step-daughter and step-son. Luckily, when I went onto ebay I found someone who was bidding/selling 2 razr phones ( a pink and a silver). When I saw it, I thought to myself, "Wow!! This one really works for me-- 2 razr phones and the pink one would work well with my step-daughter) and so I bid.... and won....

Anyway, I was so happy when I won( because there was someone else I was bidding against who really wanted it too.) I was even more happier when I received it and opened it, because it was just as Ray(seller) had described it.... maybe even better because it was right in front of me... I mean, he really did take good care of the phones as explained on his sale page. The phones were absolutely beautiful. You couldn't even tell they had been used before! The phones are in excellent working condition. Well, to end this review, I just have to say that my step-kids LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!

I bought this phone on eBay because my daughter has already used her twice yearly insurance replacements, and yet again the phone stopped working. I like the keypad, and the memory space / features. The design is slim and compact which is great. The problems we've been having have been within the phone itself. The first two had factory software problems, and this last one, bought here on eBay worked fine for a couple of months. Then it also started getting blank screens. According to Verizon it was originally activated 2 years ago, so I'd say it lasted a while. We just received our new Razor today from Verizon (3rd since 8-07) so hopefully it will last more than a few months. I have known friends with this phone and it has lasted them over 2 years. I'd say it's luck of the draw on the sotfware, but the phone itself has never failed us.

Cell phone preferences vary greatly from person to person. No one phone will make everyone happy; and I've found that a trial-and-error approach works the best for me. That, and asking everyone who has one what they like and dislike. You are bound to find someone who looks for the same features you require in a cell or home phone system. In addition to that, even if you're looking at phones on eBay, go to the store of the cell phone provider that you are going to use and test their phones and ask questions about any phones you are considering.

I bought this one to replace one I bought from Verizon that I absolutely hated because the computer never heard my voice commands correctly. I do like this one much better. From the review, it may sound like I do not like the phone, but I do. I am just very particular about electronic products, and may expect too much from them.

Good features of the RAZR:

1) Voice commands are seldom misunderstood by computer.
2) Clear, crisp sound...usually even when using the bluetooth.
3) Slim style fits nicely into pocket or purse.
4) It is sharp looking...get lots of people admiring it.
5) It has a fairly good camera...pretty clear pictures.
6) It has VCast capability...I do not use this feature so I cannot rate it.

Bad features include:

1) Battery life (even a new battery) is short...I have to recharge 2-3 times a week.
2) Keypad is a little harder to use because:
A) The backlight powers off too soon...cannot program it to stay on any longer.
B) The numbers are not raised so I have to use my fingernails to dial, which means that I cannot dial by touch; I always have to look.
C) The way the keypad is designed, the numbers do not appear to be in a row, making it confusing to look at.
3) Although the slim style has its advantages, it is also a disadvantage because I have to hold it tighter (when not using the bluetooth), and my hand cramps up.
4) I do not like any of the ring tones, but that may be because a phone I had a few years ago spoiled me with the variety...of which I liked many offered.

I was suppose to be buying a Rare blue razor . When i recieved it weeks later it was a silver phone . I have emailed this seller numerous times and have not recieved one message back . There has been no communication at all ! I have never experienced such a badn experience with a ebay seller !

was really happy to see the features of this fone. cool screen and keypad. also the sound quality and reception is great. only slight probs with battery life ie needs recharging quiet often and the program speed is a bit slow. else its an excellent fone. have dropped it 3 times from approx 5 feet height ad not a single scratch.

This phone was purchased used. It was in great condition. The only drawback that I can see with Razrs is the short battery life. Otherwise I find this phone to be great.

just not new technology, this is old school. i wouldnt recomend this to anyone who needs space on their phone.

I am completely satisfied with everything the Motorola RAZR does, or IS I should say. It has excellent call quality. A bright, large, colorful screen. The design of the phone itself is flawless and fits perfectly in hand. It doesn't have any amazing features... But then again it is just a phone, it doesn't need any special features. I had owned a RAZR previously and lost it. I have had many phone before and after the RAZR I lost. The RAZR was the only phone I have ever bought a second time. Seeing one on eBay at such an affordable price drew me right in. Now once again I am a happy owner of the Motorola RAZR.

This phone is great, it's smaller than the v3m and lacks a micro sd port, but it has a huge interior display and great resolution. the voice commands make doing almost anything easy.

This phone is cute. It is thin. It fits nice in a tight jeans pocket. It does what it is supposed to do fine, but anything else is a bit of a stretch. It is slow, after clicking to open a text message, expect to wait a few seconds before anything happens. This can get very frustrating if you text more than one person at a time and your phone is freezing while you are trying to text.

Love the razr since it is compact. Great speakerphone & easy to carry in your front pocket. Only drawback is you have a 50 50 chance the battery does not hold a charge for very long. One phone the battery will last just a few hours without talking & a great razr will last quite a while before having to recharge. After a hit & miss with buying them I decided to cut my losses & go with its replacement the w755. If it was'nt for the battery issue I would never of got rid of my razr since I've had my old one for years & you know how people are always wanting to upgrade & my upgrades were not holding the charge.

Well first off, the item was described as it was, couldn't get any better. Seller has Great communication with buyers, product arrived in a fast and timely matter.

The phone appeared to be fine but the battery was shot. I am not sure the seller knew that but he should have tested it before offering it or let the buyer know it needed a new bat. Phone was 49.00, the new battery cost 29.00.
I could be just me, but stuff like this is what keeps people away from Ebay.

The picture quality is poor and so is the reception. Phone appears to be in good shape but battery looses charge quickly.
