      Motorola RAZR V3c also PINK version (Verizon Wireless)

    This review is for the Motorola V3c and the Motorola V3c PINK both for the Verizon Wireless network. This phone packs VCAST, Get It Now, a built in 1.3 megapixel digital camera, camcorder with MPEG4 video playback, and Bluetooth wireless technology, it’s the ultimate in high speed EVDO, and high tech. With the precision-cut keypad, minimalist styling and metal finish, the V3 looks just as beautiful as it performs.

    This is an excellent looking phone. The main difference between the two models is that the PINK model is well… pink. Surprised I know. It has a lot of bells and whistles, but it does the job and does it well. The Keypad is well laid out and has large etched buttons; those worried about fat fingering numbers will welcome this. Another stand out feature of this phone is the Intenna. Basically the antenna is built into the case nothing extending out. The plus side is that the phone looks and feels great. The trade off is that you lose about a half bar of signal strength. Another downside is that with these first generation models, Motorola decided to take away the ability to add additional memory by eliminating the transflash port, those into the media player thing will disappointed. It’s a sleek and thin phone, great primary or backup phone if you lost your main phone or it was stolen.

      Razr V3c is Fresh and Sleek, but does it Perform?
    Review created: 09/02/06(updated 09/02/06)

    My husband and I have currently upgraded our Verizon Wireless phone, from a now-ancient LG to the new Motorola Razr V3c. Upon inspection at our local Verizon Wireless hut, the Razr seemed like a fantastic phone. Some of the Razr's features that attracted us include:

    * All Digital Phone
    * 1.3M Camera Resolution
    * V CAST Music and Video Service
    * Bluetooth® Capable*
    * VZ Navigator through Get It Now®
    * Speakerphone
    * Voice Dialing
    * TTY Compatible
    * Hearing Aid Compatibility = M3
    * Meets FCC SAR limit.

    However, after using the phone for a few weeks, I definitely had some issues. I've noticed that the Motorola Razr is extremely slow when reviewing pictures (10-15 seconds), sending or receiving picture messages and/or text messages (usually 30-45 seconds), and it freezes up every now and then when placing calls.

    After realizing that this beautiful phone didn't live up to my expectations of a new cell phone, I became a little disappointed. I've also spoken to others who had purchased the Razr, and they expressed similar complaints. Where the Motorola Razr V3c excels in sleekness, it lacks in basic function.

    If you are one that simply uses your cell phone to place and receive calls, the Razr may work perfectly for you. However, if you're like me and want to use the camera feature and send/receive picture and text messages, you may want to explore other phone options.

    I hope that you found this review helpful! :)

      Phone is sleek and strong

    Great phone, features are lacking. The GSM versions have a lot more functionality. If you want a sleek, slim phone then this is the one for you. Quality is good, but as I had stated the menu's are lacking.

    I purchased this phone because of all the hype that was given to it. Unfortunately, by the time I really got to know it, it was too late to return it. Don't get me wrong, the phone works great, but if you are old fashioned like me....don't change to a new phone unless you're ready to make all the changes. I didn't find this phone as user friendly as my last one which was the Motorola T720. The Razr is smooth & sleek, great phone, very good reception, looks great & feels great. Just not for me. So...if you're into new stylish phones, this one's for you. Enjoy!

      Razr vs LG
    Review created: 04/02/06

    I has looked at the Razr phone because of all the hoopla about it. But my main concerns are capabilities, sound, easiness, and the LG 8100 surpasses the Razr phone by a long shot. I know 3 people who have returned their Razr phones and have talked to others who wish they hadn't bought it. It is like a new model car that is in its first yr. WAIT to purchase. There are bugs to get out of it. I see this with the Razr phone. It is not for someone who really depends on their phone a lot. I have always had a Samsung, but the reviews and popularity of the LG8100 caught my attention. The LG is an awesome phone. Everything is easy to use. I am not a Motorola cell phone fan, but I do like the Motorola Bluetooths. I have two the H700 and the H500, both are great and pair up with the LG 8100. It is a personal preference, but for the money and long term use, the LG is far superior to the Razr.
