Motorola RAZR V3 (AT&T)

I committed to buy a Motorola RAZR V3 from seller and paid for it through PAYPAL, but then received nothing. After about 4 days I e-mailed the seller on e-bay and asked for shipping and UPS tracking information. Waited a full 7 days without getting any response or explanation from seller. Then complained to PAYPAL. Only then did I get a refund of my money. However, I still was not provided with an explanation of why seller didn't ship the product. Wasted a week of my time and left me to have to search again to buy another cell phone.

Up until this recent purchase I had no qualms over a seller's location. But after buying 4 phones from Hong Kong and finding that one that didn't work properly -- I discovered that I am basically helpless if the seller decides to act unethically.
Hong Kong has expensive shipping rates when requiring a signature receipt on returns from the U.S. (approximately half the cost of one phone). And while I normally would be willing to do that: the communication I received from the seller was basically "...we test our phones... please place another order and we will send you an extra one..." Now, as a rule, I try never to follow up a poor situation by sending more money to the perpetrator. If I had received a response to the effect that they were sorry and please return it for repair/replacement or, because the shipping is expensive, please place another order... I would have felt confident enough to send back the phone even if the shipping rate was very high.
It is disappointing that the seller states in their ad that they accept returns and warranty the phones for 30 days -- but don't really respond that way when a problem occurs. I understand the necessity to protect themselves from fraud, but telling me they will send and extra phone on my next order pisses me off. By the way, none of my follow up emails to the seller was ever answered.
In the end, I decided to not return the phone because a partially working phone was better then no phone and no money. Therefore, I was unable to gain any support or recompense for the faulty item. Perhaps my ignorance and fear of being further victimized by an unethical seller led to this outcome but sometimes you must take responsibility for your actions, i.e. shopping for the cheapest item -- regardless of location.

In summary, I must say that 'buyer beware' is a cornerstone of the electronic market place and that the promises of safety that facilitators like Ebay claim cannot always be counted upon when dealing with overseas and/or unethical sellers.

Easy features on phone. Keypad is nicely laid out, menus are easy to use and navigate. The phone seems durable and solid - for use by a teenager. Design is also compact so it doesn't take up a lot of space.

I had no idea when I was bidding on the cell-phone because it said almost new!
Phone had features that did not work properly and phone was either a return or a refurb!! I left this seller feedback and to this day seller has not left me my feedback. Buyers beware and check your sellers out real good!!!

I bought this item because we needed a replacement. I received the item and it is totally unuseable. The inside and outside screen is busted and appears it was either stepped on or dropped. I contacted the seller to make the sale right he says it was in perfect order when it left him. He made no attempts to help me resolve the issue and on his description he said no returns... but did not say no refunds but refuses to make the sale right or help me resolve with USPS. He also did not offer insurance so I am out my money and have an unusable phone. I hate to leave bad reviews but all I ask of him was to help me resolve the issue. Thanks

I decided to buy the phone because it appeared to buy in good shape and it was a reasonable price. the pics were fake however because the phone was broken when i recieved it.

This is a really cool phone... easy to use - great shortcut keys to access messages and contacts... the only thing I don't like is you cannot adjust the font size of the text. Also I have set-up my inbox and reply but it changes after every use... a pain... other than that this is a good phone.

I was looking for a replacement cell phone for the one I now have and the Motorola Razr was the one I wanted. The cell phone I won on EBay filled the bill and was like new. Overall, I was very satisfied with with my purchase.

Purchased this Used for my girlfriend because we are both currently in college and she had a older phone and it works great for the price. It's stylish and still a nice phone used!!!

its a good phone, parts are easy to find. resistant.
the sound are good quality. price is resonable.

The phone works sporadically. Took several attempts & a trip to the AT&T store to get it working. Now it works ok, but the battery does not hold a charge very well. Don't know if this is a defect in the phone, or in the battery. The phone is constantly on the charger to keep it working. Will probably end up having to buy another one soon.

Shipping took almost 2 weeks. Then I had some problem with the phone and contacted the seller, but was not cooperated with well. I filed a claim on paypal, but later dropped it because a friend fixed the phone for me. Not happy with the service I recieved from this seller

I decided to purchase a phone on ebay based on a friends recommendation. I won this one at a good price I thought and it looked like a really nice phone. With this being my first purchase I guess I missed the fine print before I purchased it because the phone does not work at all. The phone was never on and couldn't be turned on from day one. I'm really unsure why anyone would want to buy a defective phone. So my first experience with ebay and this product wasn't very pleasant.

If you want first rate service, like new product, and superior speed of delivery go with this seller.
When the phone came, with the exception of stored pictures and phone numbers, you would never be able to tell that it was a used item.
I had purchased a new phone that was in the same condition as this one was.
I love the razr v3 and how easy it is to use. Generally, it costs between $60-$100 used, so this seller was a bargain at $44.44 shipping included.
Before you buy yourself that replacement phone from your carrier check out the deals on e-bay, this seller especially.

This item was not as described by seller on EBAY..
I had to go back thru PayPal to get the money back!!
Also EBAY has already deleted in ''My Profile'' the way I could review this transaction.. EBAY what in the HELL are you doing..?? I cannot give feed-back on the items I have Purchased!!!???!!!

I have always liked the Razr phone but couldn't find one in the stores. I found one on Ebay from this seller and the price was great and the shipping was quick. I give them 5 stars!!!!!

Had this phone before and broke it by accident. Liked the features but couldn't afford a new one yet. While bidding, invariably the price goes way up for this product, so I decided to buy it instead of entering into the bidding wars!

Once I got very prompt responses to my queries from the seller, I didn't waste time. Thanks to ebay.

Simple and easy to use, as well as ruged and durable. Even though i bought a used phone it was still in great shape and showed minimal signs of wear. This phone is simple so it may not be good for somone who is gona be online or IMing. For work though its great.

this is a great little gadget. very easy to use and works great. it does everything a "phone" should do.

I like the phone but want to know why the battery back is a different color from the rest of the phone back is dark blue the rest of the phone is sky blue Thanks It doesnt show it that way in the picture when u buy it.

I have the (iPhone 3G) and it don't get as good as service as my RAZR!!!! 5/5 Stars for service!!!!!
